Bravo has been praising the successes of its freshmen reality competitions Top Design and Shear Genius for awhile now. So it comes as no surprise that the pair have been renewed for second seasons. This Yahoo! article also confirmed Jaclyn Smith will return to host the second run of Shear Genius, in which hairstylists compete for $100,000. Not clear yet is if Todd Oldham or any of the judges would be returning on Top Design, in which interior designers, architects and artists vie for $100,000. Of course, it doesn't mean they won't re-up, just that no one is saying yet.
Have we run out of things to have competitions for yet on TV? Singing, dancing, choir singing, group dancing, hair styling, interior design, cooking, eating, dating ... what am I missing? I'm sure you'll know more than I do. Hell, we even had a plastic surgery beauty pageant! I'm ready for a competition on sleeping. Man, I could do that with my eyes closed (see what I did there? eh? eh? no? ... sorry).

I want to see a reality competition like Beauty & The Geek except with fat people paired up with skinny people. The challenges have to do with diet & nutrition or watching television. Who can eat the most twinkies after dinner (the skinny people have to do this of course). Beauty & The Geek let the beauties see the geeks for the people they really are & vice versa. I think Fat & Skinny could do that for, well, fat & skinny people.
p.s. Since it was my idea, I get to be the first "fat" person cast!

I actually would like a new twist to the Beauty & The Geek formula. How about gay & straight guys teaming up? Or gay beauties with gay geeks?
They already added a twist this just completed season, so why not? I know for a fact it would be totally different, but I have a strange feeling it would only air on Bravo.
