Here are the weekly cable ratings, by number of viewers.
What's this, a football game in the top ten besides Monday Night Football? I don't know how the Packers/Cowboys game on NFL Network came in second this week. Was it a pivotal game or something? I don't really watch football. Monday Night RAW shows up again (still not sure why it's considered two different hours instead of one, two-hour show), along with weekly favorite SpongeBob. Tin Man got great ratings for Sci-Fi Channel.
1. Monday Night Football (ESPN)
2. NFL Game - Packers vs. Cowboys (NFL Net)3. Tin Man - Part One (Sci-Fi)
4. NFL Game Pre-Kick (NFL Net) - tie
5. WWE Monday Night RAW - 10pm (USA)
6. The Santa Clause (Disney)
7. WWE Monday Night RAW - 9pm (USA)
8. SpongeBob SquarePants (Nickelodeon)
9. YouTube GOP Debate (CNN)
9. SportsCenter (ESPN)

That's a matter of opinion. No big deal here.

What's interesting is that there was big issue about NFL Network channel not being available to a bunch of cable subscribers, including ones in Dallas.. That number is impressive.

I guess everyone who has the NFL network watched the game.

To elaborate on Guido's point, This game was supposed to go a long way towards determining the future of the NFL Net. NFL and most of the large cable providers are currently in a pissing contest because the NFL wants NFLN carried on basic tier packages and wants more per subscriber than channels usually get. The cable Co's think the nfl's demands are ridiculous and are refusing to carry the network. The result is that of the 75-80 million people who have cable, only about 35 had access to the channel for that game (which pretty much decided who would win the NFC this year). Area's without local cable coverage include the home markets of Dallas and Wisconsin. For it to have been the #2 show with a limited available audience means that just about every one who could watch the game did. Since there has not been the major uproar that the NFL thought would happen, I'm betting the Cable Co's will hunker down and continue refuse the nfl's demands.
BTW, NFLN's commentators for the game (Chris Collinsworth and Greg Gumble) were probably the worst pair to call a game i have watched all year. It was embarrassingly terrible and the league should be ashamed.

That's Bryant Gumbel. Greg Gumbel isn't very good, either, but he's head and shoulders better than Bryant.

To me I think its a good idea for the NFL to push this issue and keep it with the basic tier package of cable.

Sorry to see the NFL network game do so well, on my cable it went from being in the super deluxe package to the extra special 'we're going to charge you again for stuff you had already paid for' sports package. No thanks, in the words of Cartman - "screw you guys"
But hey - the GOP debate made the top ten, they still didn't beat Spongebob or big time Wrestling but still, in the top ten. There might be hope yet.

Hey Bob, could include the actual viewership of these shows when you put out the list? I suppose it's nice to know what is being watched on cable, but without numbers of viewers it's impossible to compare to the network TV lists.

Not surprised the GOP debate made the top ten, most entertaining programming all week. Broadcast guys should give these guys their own half-hour comedies, it would be a laugh-riot!
Anybody have numbers on the later parts of Tin Men? Kind of disturbing that only the first part showed up in the top ten.

I was stupid, these ratings specifically end on Sunday. Hopefully the latter parts of Tin Man will be on the top 10 next week.
