AOL TV's top ten sexiest women

Christina ApplegateAOL TV has finally released their top ten of the Top 50 Sexiest Women. This list spans many decades of television, so you can see how the old school hotties paved the way for the next generation of actresses. It also includes women who because they have parlayed their careers to the big screen, I don't even think of them as television actresses anymore (i.e. Katie Holmes, Jessica Alba, and Jennifer Aniston). Okay, I take that last one back -- I will always think of Jen as Rachel.

I'm not going to reveal who's in the top ten but I will share some of my favorites from the list (#50-11). Please feel free to share your favorites in the comments. As for me, my favorites are all funny blondes -- maybe blondes do have more fun (at least these ones do).

Goldie Hawn: First of all, the picture AOL TV has over at their site is a great one. I think what makes Goldie sexy is not her beautiful face and the goregous figure but her exuberant personality that just shines through when you watch her perfrom. (Okay, the face and figure probably help.) I think, like the other ladies on my list, she has great comedic timing too. I know it's not a TV show but Overboard is one of my favorite movies. I love when I happen to catch it on cable.

Christina Applegate: Do you remember how people used to hoot and holler when Kelly Bundy walked onto the set? I know producers made them do that but I still thought it was great. She is hands down the best bimbo on television. I loved the trashy clothes, bleached hair, (and the unplucked eyebrows--ouch, how did that one get in?).

Suzanne Somers: As they said over at AOL TV, "never before--or since--has a grown woman looked so hot in pigtails." I agree with that. Furthermore, I must add to it, "never before--or since--has a grown woman looked so hot in pigtails and rollerskates." I think the rollerskates have something to do with Suzanne's greatness.
