Yes, this particular setup with the window behind the camera works much better. The lighting is more even throughout and neutral.
*Sings "Lady In Red."*
Anyway, sadly, I'm not surprised about that little fiendish subtle plug of Marie's doll. Everyone has a plug these days.
In regards to the recent rejection of the studios' proposal by the WGA, I fully support it. The proposal is an insult.

They were offered 130 million, declined and asked for 150 million.
Compared to the 1.3 billion they make that's about 1.5% difference. The writers are just being stupid at this point. I'm sure they will get it but, but what difference is that going to make to the individual writer?
If they are going to counter offer, why not counter with something that would actually worth fighting over? I mean, we are talking a 1% increase. If I interviewed for a job and asked for a $40,000 salary, and they countered with $39,600, I'd take it. This just doesn't make any sense why they would ask for so little, and why studios would kvetch about not giving it to them.

As disturbed as well all might be by the thought of a loose yeti, we should really be more worried about the tight variety.

What's wrong with Penrod? Hmm?? Where is it? You were like Super Random look at my hat on top of my hair!
We miss it's brilliant, but slowly fading, orange awesomeness.

Given the way sound carries and echos in the mountains, it might be difficult to hone in on a precise location for bumbleyeti, but confirming its existence should be easy.
Just listen for the Boing! Boing! Boing! noises.

RE: Penrod (the Strike Pumpkin)
- Some folks speculate as to his whereabouts and/or condition.
- Some discuss his accessories.
- Some want to see Brigitte "pie" him.*
- Some meticulously track his various appearances.
- Some miss him when he refuses to appear.
- Some encourage an expanded role for him.
- Some argue that he's been slowly but surely withering on the inside all along.**
Although pumpkins start to rot in about 3 days, it turns out that there are ways to preserve them, at least for a while. Yes, pumpkin lives can be extended (although it may be a bit late for Pen, sorry.)
You can use a product called "Pumpkin Preserver," or even common household products like Vaseline or WD-40.***
Who'd've thought?****

* Perish that thought. I'd probably go for an "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" approach when it comes time. Renewing the earth and all that.
** There can be found a few time-lapse videos of rotting pumpkins. Please, please do not watch them if you have any affection for Penrod, or pumpkins in general. Especially you, Brigitte.
Here is a particularly gruesome one:

*** WD-40 only combusts when vaporised, so no lit candles until well after spraying.
**** This chap certainly did:

I can't seem to reply to a reply.
But in response to rndnme - That's just part of it, though. The studio offered no compensation for movie downloads from sales as well as streaming. The studio's offer of $130 million is just for the use of reruns of TV shows online for a year. Which breaks down to just $250 per writer per year. That's a pretty crappy and limiting residual. The WGA wants a bit more in addition to other residuals for different distribution methods.

Go-Kart, why do you spell your name differently than your login name? Maybe you can't decide how you want to spell it so you use both?
Porcelain dolls are creepy. They're even more creepy when they look like a real person. And super duper creepy when they look like a fruitcake like Marie Osmond.
Brigitte, love your shirt. Want to go shopping tomorrow?

Huh. Pretty observant there, Nicky. I mean, Nikki.*
Since you ask, I suppose I am indecisive. And it's even worse than you've guessed: I've seen this name/term permutatively represented at least 6 different ways.
Recently, I've been intermittently signing off w/ 'Gocart' as that is my "one, true spelling." **
And, IIRC, I might have used 'Gocart M' once.***
Oh yeah, thanks for the tip about the eye fungus thing. Good to know. I'll make sure not to share mascara, lashes, etc. Though, I may have other issues to think about besides fungus if I ever do that. And I brook no offence, sexism, judgment, or anything else by that remark; I speak strictly from the perspective of straight males who choose to not wear makeup.
Also, w/r/t to our comments from the previous day, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if Penrod ever "speaks."
