While I'm sure her Office alter-ego would find an unwed pregnancy extremely unprofessional, real-life Angela Kinsey and her husband are very excited to be expecting their first child in May, according to Zap2It.com. Assuming the pesky strike ends before the season does, one would assume writers will either have to work the pregnancy into the show or work around it with strategically placed filing cabinets and Angela walking around holding her clipboard constantly.
Of course, the actress is so tiny, as long as she's standing behind a desk, no one would be able to see above her chest anyway. I suspect they'll just hide it, if necessary, but it would add a lot of conflict to the character and show that could be mined for good comic effect, so long as the father is former amour Dwight or current fling Andy, who as far as we know has not yet danced the mattresses with her; for that matter do we know if Dwight did?

Considering Angela showed up in Dwight's hotel room naked during the paper convention, it seemed pretty clear they were indeed dancing on the mattress as you put it.

I doubt they'll write it in. By the time the writers get back to work and create new episodes to be filmed she'll probably be pretty far along. If they had some lead up time they could probably make it work but its hard to explain how she instantly became 5 months pregnant.

angela can't decide either andy or dwight, so she takes some leave of abcense to get some perspective. she writes letters to andy and to dwight, under an alias, maybe amy monkey, and then we won't have to see pregnant angela for a while. that might work.

Angela and Dwight have had relations although it hasn't been shown or necessarily hinted on camera. I know Dwight has said so and I'm pretty sure she did too.

I was wondering about this too, did Angela and Dwight have sex? I think yes, because of a few things:
1) She clearly slept over multiple times, and vice versa. She left stuff on his night stand and he left a tooth brush at her house. They both had keys to each other's houses.
2) The whole "cookie" exchange in Michael's Birthday.
3) And finally...in "Drug Testing," Dwight's going around checking what prescription meds everyone is on, and when Angela says "Nothing," his reaction is priceless.
Anyway, that's my theory. And I really need to watch less Office.

I think a great plot line would be to have Angela be pregnant on the show and not be sure who the father is Dwight or Andy. Then have the guys fight over who the father is, while the rest of the office places bets on who it could be. That would be some great TV. I hope the strike is over soon.
