A little over a month has passed since our last article about the Sex and the City movie. Has the novelty already worn off? In early October articles and on-set reports about the movie were pouring all over the web but now, SatC movie news are getting quite rare. Nonetheless, I roamed the web to find the latest happenings since mid-October.Slight spoilers ahead!
- More and more sources report that the pregnancy and wedding are indeed part of dream/fantasy sequences.
- The cast includes, besides the four main ladies, Chris Noth, Jason Lewis, Jennifer Hudson, Evan Handler, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, Mario Cantone, Micheal Bloomberg (as himself), Lynn Cohen, Julie Haltson and much more!
- So far, the movie shot scenes at Bryant Park, the Four Seasons Hotel, the New York Public Library, the London NYC Hotel and other locations in New York City.
- Michael Bloomberg's scene takes place at Bryant Park.
- Samantha's white fur coat is ruined by blood or red paint. Some sources report that animal rights activists may have been the ones who ruined the coat while others say Samantha may have been shot. The latter seems improbable since the pictures don't show her in distress or pain and Carrie and Miranda are shocked and not rescuing their friend.
- As you probably remember, Charlotte and Harry wished to adopt a child. Their wish was granted and they were successful in completing all the adoption process as we will see them with a young Asian girl in the movie.
- Something happens during the "fake" wedding because Carrie will use her bouquet to hit Big!
According to IMDb.com, the movie will be released on May 20, 2008, in the USA.
