Jenny Bicks, if you really want to know about living in Alaska and real men of the Alaskan wilderness, why don't you really ask someone who lived there for 5 long Alaskan winters and 4 very short summers. It's hard to be a lady at -70 below zero. I did and I wasn't wearing a thin wool jacket or high heel boots. I worked the desk of the City of Fairbanks Police during the Alaskan Pipeline era. I saw hookers, fortunes earned and lost in days, big city crime in a small town. I lived on the side of a mountain with a wood stove with the Northern Light above and the ice fog below. I plugged in my car to keep it from freezing. I heard the wolves in my backyard and the linx, beavers, moose eating my left over 40 pound cabbages in the frozen garden. This show is cute, but Anne and some of the characters are not realistic. They men however are hunky, especially the bar owner, who use to be on ER, cute show, most of the cast is good, but how about a spin off show called "White Knights of the Northern Lights" ? Jenny Bicks call me!!!!
