Jamie Oliver, a favorite of many Food Network lovers, will be returning "home" with his new show to air in January. Probably most famous for his show The Naked Chef, Jamie's new show will be called Jamie at Home. Bob Tuschman, Senior Vice President, Programming for Food Network, explains: "His new show focuses on recipes that are quick, fresh, inventive and easy to recreate at home." The show will follow Oliver around his home in England and feature him preparing meals with produce from his own country garden. Each episode will feature a different ingredient from Oliver's kitchen garden. Oliver will show viewers a variety of recipes that focus on that ingredient.
Jamie at Home premieres on Food Network on Saturday, January 12 at 9:30 a.m. ET/PT as part of Food Network's "In the Kitchen" line-up.

This one has been showing on Food Network Canada for a while now. He's actually got three shows on the go at the same time - Jamie at Home, Jamie's Great Italian Escape (althuogh I think that's actually finished now) and some reality competition show. I watch a LOT of Food Network and I'm not too thrilled that his shows seem to take up so much of the schedule - he's probably my least favourite TV chef, although I couldn't say why...

Well...Jamie Oliver may be ok to some, but to me, he isn't a chef at all. Don't know what it is about him, can't put my finger on it, but this new show previews I have seen...who wants to see dirt on a cooking show? Not me! He is probably a wonderful person, but I never did make time to watch his show after viewing it one time. I wish him good luck in the future, of course...but am not happy about him OR the guy that eats cobra hearts...disgusting. That's not about food, it's about BIZARRE BEHAVIOR.

Oh, I love Jamie Oliver! We have all of his cookbooks and used to watch his show. I am an awful cook, but his recipes make even more difficult dishes seem easy. And then, of course, there's the man, himself. Mmmm.
XXX,
Alison
P.S. Shameless plug, but I'm editor of "Naked Erotica." I wonder if I should send him a copy!

Hey KP! What do you mean fat? We are very thin because we cook with fresh ingredients and we don't lard up on Big Macs like you do. Get outta that fast food line and watch Jamie.

Thank goodness....someone besides Rachel Ray and Paula. Am burned out on both. Overexposure on these two. That Paulas Party is so bad I am unable to sit and watch.

He should actually cook in the "buff". Instead of a spatula, he could use his CO@K to flip the eggs!!
