Ex-Survivor: Australian Outback castaway and current The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck called her daytime talk show to let her co-workers know the name of her baby boy born over the weekend.Although it's November sweeps, I doubt she planned the timing of the birth to boost ratings. Perhaps the phone call, though! In her call to the show she told them that Taylor Thomas Hasselbeck was born at 7:52 am on Friday morning.
Elisabeth's husband is Tim Hasselbeck, a back-up quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals.
Born in Arizona, Taylor weighed 7 pounds, fifteen ounces and is in good health. Elisabeth left The View on October 23 for her maternity leave. This is the second child for the couple. They also have a daughter named Grace who was born in April, 2005.
Elisabeth first arrived to the television medium as a contestant on the second season of Survivor, with a strong third place finish. Since joining The View, Elisabeth has been at the center of controversy with Rosie O'Donnell. O'Donnell's long gone from the show, but Elisabeth plans to return from her maternity leave during January.

I hate that show, don't agree with her views, and don't like much of anything that comes from BC(especially quarterbacks)...
Congratulations to her and Tim.

I think she likes having kids so that she won't be the least intelligent person in her household. Now that she has a new baby she can avoid holding that title for 4 or 5 years.

I was going to refrain from making a rude comment, but just couldn't anymore.
It's just sad to think that another human being is going to be subjected to her right wing beliefs and whacked Christianity.
Oh well, by the time Taylor is old enough to know better, Promises in Malibu should be of great assistance.

MacGuffin - Are you saying that your way is the only way to live? Last time I checked this was still America. Political and Religious freedom. You raise your kids your way, and she'll raise her kids her way. Good for you both!

I don't agree with her views either, but I feel that people with conservative views aren't neccessarily BAD people. Most of my friends who have conservative views are great parents and are raising very responsible human beings.
