Stump the King - Saturday Night Live

Brian WilliamsLike many people, I had serious doubts about Brian Williams hosting SNL. I wasn't worried that he wouldn't be funny (I've seen him on Conan so many times and he always makes me laugh). What I was worried about was that he might look stupid. Let's face it, SNL is pretty hit and miss these days and his episode could have easily been a stinker.

I was really happy to see that this was not the case.

In the past, other news anchors have appeared on the show but Williams is the first host to be currently anchoring the nightly news. I remember when Edwin Newman appeared on SNL I thought he was hilarious but had very little knowledge of his anchoring history.

Williams did a great job parodying himself without looking like a buffoon and his characters in the first few sketches were really funny. When he did the Borat thing, I laughed out loud. Here's hoping SNL can get more hosts of this caliber.

Now for this week's question...

Who are the youngest and oldest hosts of Saturday Night Live?

Michele was the first to send in the correct answer of Drew Barrymore and Ruth Gordon.
