Brigitte, did you not put any "pineapple juice" in your pineapple juice?
Either you're not suffering even slightly from a Halloween hangover, or you've access to some vegan miracle cure. I'm pretty sure it wasn't menudo!

One of the things I've discovered on the Internet is just how many people there are who mistake being vulgar for being clever.

WE, that reminds me of one of my favorite quotes ever:

Brigitte, today's show was truly excellent. Sure, I noticed your hair first (which was a little hard to make out against your dark top), but then it was all about your non-stop, fresh, highly entertaining - MONOLOGUE.
There was no green tooth.
There was no airplane time.
There was no dancing pineapple.
There was no seat-belted pumpkin.
There was no edible stop motion art.
There was no turning an 11 into a bluebird.
Just a great monologue... Today's show deserves to be vaulted to preserve your killer monologue skillz. Go Brigitte!
Today, things got weird on my front. In the span of 10 seconds, the words "cupcake", "caveman", and "alien" were mentioned in conversation. What a trip!
p.s. Today, I ate my first cupcake in years (with soy/rice milk of course). Vanilla cake with butter and fudge icing...
p.p.s. Does carrying around so much sex appeal feel like you're wearing a backpack full of Prince Spaghetti?

I keep hearing about how if they strike there'll be more reality shows and whatnot, and that makes sense but... I mean, they can't make everything a reality show. They're going to have to do something, a strike like this really can't last for all that long can it?
I'm on the writer's side, I guess, but... really, can't they just get other people to write it? Like the Daily Show... I'm assuming they still have Jon Stewart himself, the rest of the cast, and interns. They couldn't bust something out?

Dude, these guys are creeps. I really want to comment about that "Heroes" stuff, but the last time I did that on a blog was on the one I write for, and my comments led to our most prolific poster quitting. "Heroes" has always been, and always will be, terrible, unless they really make some changes.
Oh, and I seriously hope "Lost" isn't effected by this writer's strike. Any idea as to why they're striking anyway? What's the story here?
I'm gonna go research it some more. Good blog post.

The last writers' strike lasted seven months and from what I've read (Mark Evanier's blog) membership is even more united this time than it was back in 1988. Add to it the fact that both the Screen Actors Guild and the Directors' Guild will be in a position to strike at the end of June 2008 and you can expect the Motion Picture and Television Producers to try to take a hard line because whatever the Writers' Guild settles for is going to be a benchmark for the other two guilds. If they can get a good - for them - deal with the writers they'll be able to tell the other two guilds that this is what you are going to get. As a result, I think a long strike is the likely result of this whole mess.

It's FRIDÅY! Where are you, B-B-Brigitte? Oh, oops. Posted in on Thursday. Sorry. Missed this vidcast as I had dinner and movie (30 Days of Night) to see.
Posh. Poo poo. Same thing. Skinny, uptight, insecure, talentless hack moved to L A from The UK. Next...
If the writers strike strikes, could they fill the void with TVSquad Daily Dale's re-runs?
I just can't get over the big blue eyes, that aren't reading from a queue card or scroller.
Sigh. Too bad the lip sync is way off...damn internet-video compression...

LOL! Great comment! But no, I'm not entirely missing in action... just terribly busy these days. I just finished hosting a division level speech contest and now I can sleep at night.
As for Patrick, barring a tragic traffic accident, my guess is that he said the wrong thing to the wrong person and ended up on the wrong side of a fist... and is either lying in a hospital bed somewhere or in a jail cell and hasn't made parole yet. I hope he's okay.
