I hope you guys aren't too hungover from too many fun-sized Snickers, and I hope none of you had your children dress up as what Mike Straka called "prosti-tots" on Fox & Friends. Prosti-tots. I wonder how long it took for him to come up with that one. Barbara Eden couldn't even expose her navel on I Dream of Jeannie, and yet apparently some kids were traumatized by those two inches of midriff."Clusterf@#k to the White House": Hillary Clinton seems to be the Democrat to bet on... and to beat on. All the guys are ganging up on poor pantsuited Hillary. Hey, Tim Russert, I thought the moderator was supposed to be moderate shit, not start it. Also, I actually felt really bad for Dennis Kucinich and his UFO story. That must have lost him a couple of voters... and gained a few in Roswell.
"Health Scare with Dr. Rob Riggle": Rob Riggle filed a report on the dangers of cupcakes. And antifreeze. And herpes. This segment was okay, I suppose. I liked the term "moderation Nazi". I plan to work that into every conversation I have from now on.
The night's guest was David Wright, Mets superstar. Jon, being a huge Mets fan (not much of a pitcher, evidently), spent the whole interview talking about baseball. I think it would have been nice for Wright to bring up the David Wright Foundation, though.
Moment of Zen: Here's a fun fact: If your collection of Halloween costumes suddenly bursts into flames, have your children evacuate.

Wouldn't this episode of The Daily Show be 10/31/2007?

I'm as lukewarm on Rob Riggle as Annie. He can be funny, but John Oliver (and John Hodgman if he counts) kinda makes everyone else look weak by comparison.

John Hodgman is funny? That's news to me. Hodgman the most annoying NPR-ish "alterna-culture" figures to be foisted on the public since Sarah Vowell. I'm really quite sick of his Yalie nerd/pedant schtick.
Personally, I'm a fan of Larry Wilmore. I'd like to see more of him and less of Hodgman. Hopefully Hodgman will just retire from public view, bouyed as he surely is by all that Mac ad money.
