The F chord is really difficult when you are first learning to play, but once you get it down, it opens up so much to you.

What you do to relax is very relaxing! Just, doesn't it become a little frustrating when we find out later (after playback) that we kinda got a finger or two in a frame? (I used to do animation, the Super8mm kind...in High school...brought clay to life..but candy..what a clever person!)

When I read the little blurb, it said the show was changing it's name TO January 1st.. So I'm thinking, why the hell would a show change its name to a date? That's kinda of odd.

And you should make a whole little mini movie with the skittle universe you had going, put it on youtube and see how popular your art is. I for one thought it was cool

that F chord can be trouble (try playing it like a C), i know im a guitar nerd any way the guitar thing made me want to make my first post, of what i hope will be many.hope i helped!

I went back and watched the end of yesterday's show and saw that you did indeed say goodbye, albeit quickly. I knew you wouldn't just disappear. Oh, and the F chord ... just keep at it. It'll happen, although I can't think of too many songs I actually use it on. Just stay in the key of A ... or E. D is good, too.

Totally have to ask: what kind (and brand, if applicable) of tea are you usually drinking? If you're taking recommendations, I recommend green with jasmine (Twinings is good but expensive, and if you live near a Chinese food store, they will likely have a brand just as good but cheaper) or Red Lavender from Zhena's Gypsy Tea (although it's really not a tea, it's rooibus and Lavender, and more expensive that the Twinings).

In any case, I hope your new giant mug brings you as much joy as mine brings me!

one more F comment. make sure you use your thumb in the center of the back of the neck to give you extra pressure power in helping your index finger press out those two pesky strings. equal pressure makes a difference. DON'T wrap your thumb around the back of the neck and try to do it all with mr. index. doing that will just frustrate your efforts and make you want to shout out bad words that start with F instead of play a nice guitar chord.

the only difference between this and the proper F chord is that you just hold down B-string 1st fret rather than barring the whole fret, but it sounds pretty much the same and it's movable.

Another good way to play the F chord is like this:

||3||4

Just put your pinky on the high e string, that way you don't have to hold two strings down with your index finger.

Hey I believe that I found a continuity problem with today's vlog. Your clothes change back and forth at the 2:48 mark.

Also, didn't the post summary say that Court TV was changing it's name to January 1st? I couldn't sworn that I saw that, but now it is fixed. I was gonna say that January 1st would be a very weird channel name. I hope that it would be channel 101 on every cable and satellite system.

I want to retro-commend Brigitte for yesterday's link to the video clip of the French president Sarkozy behaving like an actual head of state. I'd have missed it, otherwise. Perhaps there are still real journalists in Fance? The look on Leslie's Stahl's face, speechless no doubt for the first time in her life, was priceless.

So far as the little Skittles Solar System goes, I sensed in the overlapping orbits an impending interplanetary catastrophe. Then the Goddess of the Universe swooped down to save the day--by grinding them all between her teeth. Now THERE is an actuality show!
