Family Guy reaches a milestone on November 4th: 100 episodes. To celebrate, the animated series is having a special 'Best Of' episode. I'm hoping it will include moments from the first run of Family Guy, before it was canceled and then resurrected. The actual 100th episode is about Stewie's quest to actually kill Lois when she and Peter leave him behind to go on a cruise. It airs at its normal time slot, 9 pm. The retrospective special airs at 8:30 pm on FOX on November 4th. That means it's replacing King of the Hill for one night.
Hmmm... best moments of Family Guy? Pretty much anything with Stewie gets my vote. What are your favorite moments?

best Family guy moments. Well, just about anything in "Petarded" gets my vote!!! Sure the new run isn't as great consistantly as the original few seasons. Honestly, get rid of Herbert who is in every episode now for some reason, and the humor might go back up!

Woah ho ho... Steve Flack doing a Family Guy is bad joke!!
What a wit you have, sir! I bow to your obvious superior intellect. I think that's the very first time I've EVER heard a joke about Family Guy being a bad show.
Oh, you're funny. You're just too much.

so... basically this is just a clip show? Aw man, this will be like that time Peter said "this will be like that time..." (cue all the scenes strung together like Homer saying D'ohs)

Hey, I'm just bitter King of the Hill is being pre-empted for a clips show of a show that is basically a clip show in the first place.

Sorry Stewie, but Brian has to be my favorite, especially when he can't help himself and reverts to "doggy" behaviors - "Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?; You going to eat that? - too much. Who said Dada died with Andy Kaufman?

That episode with the toad licking, with Peter and Lois getting into their S&M gear while talking about how to keep their kids off of drugs.

Was Curt being facetious?
Hard to tell...
Oh, and Family Guy is as funny as a bad diagnosis.
Peace.

Good call, AngryBob...
Like when Brian, in mid-conversation, leaps off the sofa to chase the "Chuck Wagon" until it vanishes into the kitchen cabinets. "So close, so close..."

Favorite Family Guy Moments:
Anything from the Pilot episode
The flashback where Peter was on Survivor and trips over the rock.
The scene in the kitchen where Peter is ignoring Brian by putting himself in a sound-proof glass case.
Everytime I see those I laugh.

The Poltergiest episode (Stewie singing Phil Collins in the other realm) and for some reason this line:
"Whats the weather forcast"
"ITS GONNA RAIIN!!!"
are favorites.

When Brian sees 18 year old Lois "Son of a Bitch!!"
And the ep where Brian was the English teacher for the misfits, and the girl gave birth (again) and the black girls says, "Can I have this one? My momma keeps giving mine away!"

Brian getting a running start to jump into the stationwagon that's painted up to look like the General Lee. Except that the window is rolled up so he just crashes into it and falls in a heap to the ground.
I also liked that they referenced it almost a season later when Brian hit Peter for doing that to him.
