(S11E09) "One Katie Couric is approximately 2.6 pounds of excrement."*
*(Might not be the EXACT quote. Don't go Katie Couric on me.)
Randy Marsh takes a crap. A big one. The biggest one in history. It's so big that the European Fecal Standards and Measurements Board has to be called in.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone decide to direct their ire and take down Bono a peg or six. How funny was it that Bono actually was born a piece of crap? Notice how when he was in Africa he wasn't actually doing anything? He was just walking around with that music in the background pointing at poor people.
I've seen the entire rooting-for-the-underdog theme on the show before, most recently with the 10th Season episode "Stanley's Cup". However the creators always seem to have a way of making the theme seem fresh and steaming.
I've eaten P.F. Chang's before and I never had it back me up like that. I loved the analogy of the gestation of a baby with Randy forming a gigantic piece of shit in his colon. The laugh-out-loud moment for me was the last scene where Randy took the biggest...crap...EVER! It was so big he actually rose in the air. Yeah, it's low taste but it's South Park low taste, which means it's funny.
It's such guy humor and Trey and Matt know it. This is noted in the episode with the disgust of Randy's wife Sharon. This is why the humor of Judd Apatow has such crossover appeal. He combines a typical female romantic plot with guy toilet humor.
The episode had many great quotes. "Hothothothothot". "Turd trimester". "Does Bono want the biddy?" "Bono didn't make the crap. He IS the crap."
They're still on a roll. Possibly a toilet paper roll. Can't wait until next week.

This episode was also making fun of the documentary King of Kong about the guy trying to break the world record in Donkey Kong. It was giving me that vibe the whole episode but the part that sealed it was Randy having to take a crap in front of the judges to make sure he wasn't "cheating".

Sorry, but the best part of the episode was when they had Randy's first turd up on the screen and below it was "Emmy Award Winning Series". I look forward to South Park every week and it's because of episodes like this.

Oh man when they brought up the "Emmy Award Winning Series" label up I couldn't stop laughing. But they ran it one too many times.

I caught the King of Kong similarity, too. I read the post to see if it was mentioned. Him sending the video of his crap and then making him crap in front of people sealed it. Very nice reference, i doubt many people will get it.

I thought it was weird that they kept bringing up the Emmy on the bottom of the screen, but when they grabbed it, OH that was priceless.

None of this episodes quotes have anything on Cartmen's tourettes. also, does it make me less of a man if I agree with Sharon?

Yeah, the first time that Emmy popped up, my wife and I were laughing hysterically. Then, kinda like in the episode, she got tired of it halfway and went off to bed while I laughed at the rest.

The absolute best part was that Stone & Parker got Comedy Central to PAY THEM to call Bono a piece of shit.
I man-love them both.

Dear Trey and Matt,
We get it, you don't care much for Bono, the emmys, or Katie Couric, now please start writing funny episodes again.
Family guy may be written by manatees but at least when they make a point, they make it once and move on. This episode was emptying clips into a dead horse by the first commercial break.

My favorite moment: when it ended. This was one of the worst episodes they've done. I'm with Spencer (#17) on this one: please, guys, get back to the humor. Get over ripping on celebs just for the sake of ripping on celebs! Rip on celebs in a FUNNY way (see, for example, the Paris Hilton episode).
It hurts me to my core to even suggest such a thing, but I'm starting to wonder if South Park is jumping the shark. This episode was awful, and the previous one (Tourettes) wasn't much better. Enough with one-joke episodes! Even when Jared beat the dead horse with his aides, we got other laughs from Butters home liposuction.

You guys are crazy this episode was hilarious.
Also, they weren't making fun of Bono for no reason, he really is a huge piece of shit.
