All Halliwell's Eve, from season three. One of the earliest episodes involving costumes and period, but was an excellent story, and an early appearance of Cole, my favorite character from the series.

I liked the episodes when Rose McGowan came on board. She fit in nicely with the rest of the cast. I also liked Nick Lachey's guest spots.

I have two favorite episodes with Charmed. I love them all actually, but two stand out for me. It's hard to pick one. But if I had to choose one, it would be the one where the original three (despite Shannon's inclusion) sisters go back in time to the '70s to save their mother, the ever incredible and underappreciated Finola Hughes. Watching the girls see their mother as adult children, and then to watch Pheobe finally get to know the mother who she never knew and gain some closure on that hole in her soul, was beautiful. But I loved the whole retro '70s thing and watching the Prue and Piper see themsevles as children and recalling how Grams always protected to them was touching, but also it gave the girls a true sense of their destiny and it's importance. And then to see Pheobe's desire to change the future, but realizing that she ultimately needed to let go and not leave the note for her mother because of the ramifications, no matter how much she wanted to save her mother, showed the strength of the Pheobe character and how she had grown as a woman, witch and person. It also showed the love of the mother to the girls, the grandmother's love of her daughter and her granddaughters and the love of the sisters as sisters.
My second choice would be the final episode. It was a brilliant way to end the series. It gave hope that the girls could now choose their own destiny finally and make choices best for them, whatever that will be, either to continue as witches or to simply live lives as normal people. It ended it with a note of hope and a sense of freedom, but also that they forever remembered the importance of family and that they found away to stay together as a family and not lose the most important thing that was the basis of the whole show - the power of three, of family (which includes Leo and their children) and making a decision together as to what road they will travel next. Next to the final episode of the Bob Newhart show, when the series ended with him waking up to his former Newhart wife, this was one of my favorite series endings and a nice way to send off a show that for eight seasons kept the stories interesting, the fun intriguing and despite the loss of one sister at the end of season three, found a creative way to keep the show fresh, alive and even more intoxicating, captivating and enjoyable week after week. I hope there will be a couple of Charmed movies over the years and that all three (even four) of the sisters goes on to keeping us entertained on TV.
Plus, hey, what gay man (including myself) doesn't enjoy a show with campy women, magic and the Aaron Spelling over the top special touch.
