(S02E01) A new season begins, but it's still the same old Sarah. It's almost as though her character on this show and Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force were separated at birth. She's self-absorbed, childish and never seems to learn any lessons from her experiences.

I have found that you either love Sarah Silverman's brand of humor or you hate it. I have friends who find it wearing over time and I can understand that. Eventually, her sweet veneer comes across as fake.

Still, for some reason I think she's adorable and maybe it's the man in me but I couldn't help but stare at her jiggling breasts as she marched down the church aisle in a t-shirt, pajama bottoms and fuzzy slippers. Obviously I'm not the only one, since one of her questions later in the program to a staring cop is "do you have a question for my boobs?"

I do enjoy how the program tries to break stereotypes with the nerdy, gay couple Steve and Brian. Their addiction to the soft drink Tab continues on from last season as it features prominently during their Dungeons and Dragons session. I wonder if Tab is a sponsor.

I think they also could have thought of a better title for the episode. I understand how they chose "Bored of the Rings" (the church bells woke her up. Get it?), but I think something more clever involving abortion should have been used.

While I wasn't crazy about the episode overall (perhaps Sarah's style of humor is starting to wear on me as well...Nah), I did like certain scenes. I enjoyed the "abortion flashback" montage in which both she and her abortion doctor adopted the big hair and dress style of the 80's and the grunge style of the 90's. I also liked her greeting to the vacuum at the clinic: "Hello, old friend."
