- The most boring TV show ever was invented in the name of saving the environment.
- Paula Abdul wants babies asap!

Cupcakes are pretty neat. And I found the pumpkin intro to be very cute, but that's me.

Was that cupcake baked in a hospital style disposable paper cup/bowl?
Who does that? Why not a regular cupcake wrapper or baking cup?
BTW, I only saw humor and unsafe driving with yesterday's intro. Filming, trying to keep the pumpkin safe, and driving; you're lucky there wasn't a more serious mishap.

I just feel the need to point out that Paula hasn't been on TV for a long time now which gives the impression that she's been acting sane...but I doubt that impression is accurate.
I think the whole dog quote proves my point.
"Hi, I'm Paula Abdul and this is my chunky son Jake"
Yeah, I think someone's going to be growing up with "issues"

I liked the pumpkin stuff ... especially how you threw in the part at the end with your face stuck through that hole. If someone didn't appreciate the humor in all of it, they're just plain stupid and don't watch every day ... THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU!

Did you bake me Birthday Cupcakes???
Seriously... my birthday's not for another 10 days...
Now I don't want you to feel pressured into getting me anything (Aqua di gio cologn for men) seeings how we hardly know each other ($50.00 girt certificate at American Outfitters) and of course there is that vast 2,000 plus mile distance between us (jet skis) I'd be just as happy witha shouts out on my birthday and of course... a Cupcake (2008 Cadillac Escalade)
As to Osama... Obama on Tyra (and her I thought Miss J looked gay) as well as Paula Abdul wanting kids... heres the deal... I heard on the news (it was an accident... somebody left the tv on CNN and I couldn't find the remote) that Hillary Clinton wants to give every baby $5,000! So I'm thinkin'... how'z bout you and me splittin' the difference and ya know... goin' halvsies on a kid? Hey I'll even toss in an extra $20 for pampers and like... clothes and stuff (how much could they cost... they're soooo tiny) We can discuss it over a cupcake???

Pumpkin Cupcakes? Wait...you mean there was humor in the pumpkin episode???
Um. A Plasma TV consumes the most power, both in use and manufacturing. The most efficient TV is a DLP with LED lamp. (some LCD TVs are low watters but only the smaller sets). Using a show to show the energy consumption is such a sham. How about getting the traffic signal departments to time lights so its not always GO then STOP and then GO and then STOP!
Brig, what kinda TV do you have? Will you show us? Is it HD or just plain ol Standard Def?

I thoroughly enjoyed the pumpkin episode, because pumpkins are my favorite fruit. Really! When they get real wrinkly, you inject them with Botox and have them show more cleavage to distract the eye. Eeeeeeewwwwwww!
Isn't Paula Abdul a guy who had surgery? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. I'm too damned lazy to watch TV, so I lose track of important information.
Will Door get a holiday wreath?

Oh, yes:
I think Brigitte wasn't being sarcastic yesterday, I think she was being ironic.

Brigitte,
Ignore the naysayers. Watching you bring that pumpkin home was heart warming. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me want to balance my check book. Although I didn't actually balance my check book. Sorry.

I liked the pumpkin into... I knew you were being facetious, but then... when you got to the part about how Pumpkin fit in so well, I began to wonder... just what does Brigitte mean by that??

First, let me add my dulcet voice to the chorus of big props for the pumpkin intro. In fact, I'd say that Brig has had a pretty good run of intros as of late.
For a cheerleader, I'm beginning to suspect that our redoubtable Miss Dale has more brains (and/or geekiness) than her TVSD persona lets on.
I speak of her TV power consumption story, especially the "Blackle.com" (google in black) reference. Seems like she reads more than just celeb gossip, eh?
Finally (donning the geek cap for today's episode), the logic behind "Blackle.com" is flawed. A darker LCD screen uses more energy because it's blocking more of the white backlight. Whereas CRTs do use less energy (with darker screen content), it's probably safe to say most of us are enjoying TVSD via LCD.

I join everyone else in saying that the pumpkin intro was great.
I've always wanted more websites to have dark backgrounds and even though Blackle apparently doesn't save energy I'm still going to switch. Looking into a white monitor is like staring into a light bulb; it's not good for you.

What's more perfect - the adorably funny "He's fine" line from yesterday's pumpkin intro or today's polka dots? Go Brig!

"The most politically-correct iPod ever!"... lol indeed. Wait - I think he forgot country music!?! Yep - he covered salsa and classical (uhm... okkkkaaaaayyyy) but no country. I wonder if that was intentional.
As an aside - answers like that are exactly why I hate politics. No one is real. Anyone want to know what's in Hillary's iPod.

tommydogge (and Brigitte):
Sarcastic suggests sharp taunting and ridicule that wounds.
Ironic implies a subtler form of mockery in which an intended meaning is conveyed obliquely.
