Apparently Masi Oka will be appearing as Hiro Nakamura on Sunday Night Football tonight. NBC was tight-lipped about the content of the ad, but based on the pictures they sent out, you can only assume that it involves Masi and Terrell Owens (maybe he's the new Sylar) in front of ... something. Maybe Owens gets Hiro's ability to bend space and time, lord knows it would have helped with his receptions last year.
That green screen leaves a lot to the imagination. So tune in tonight when the Cowboys play the Bears and see what happens. It'll air right before Faith Hill's opening number. Yow.
One more photo for your enjoyment, after the break.

While TO led the league in dropped passes last year, he also led the league in catches and TDs. I'm tired of TO as the next guy but it pisses me off that the media would rather focus on his 15 dropped passes rather than the 80+ he grabbed and 14 TDs he scored. That's a productive year.
And didn't Heroes jump the shark when it became the live action X-Men?

I really hate the way people just throw around the term 'jumped the shark.'

Yeah, lighten up. It's advertising, it's not like this is going to be storyline canon.

1. "...using action figures, some Play-Doh, and a 1980s cassette recorder." Sounds like a Robot Chicken sketch.
2. With those green screen pics of Masi and TO, you guys could do your own green screen challenge.

On paper, Hiro & TO sounded good but in actuality it came off as awkward and stilted.
And why can't they just get Joan Jett to do the song cuz Faith Hill is sure not cutting it.

I agree w/ Nicki (though I used the term in a sarcastic tone in my response)--"jump the shark" has gotten just as cliched and unmoving as "sell out" or any term that is supposed to be derogatory and demeaning though its lost all meaning.
