Sci Fi Channel has corrected an error that die hard fans of Battlestar Galactica pointed out in the DVD art for the upcoming movie. Here's the deal: the TV movie is a stand-alone episode that documents what happened to the Battlestar Pegasus after the Cylon war broke out. Sci Fi held a contest for fans to choose the DVD art for the upcoming movie, called Razor. But the seal on the front of the winning DVD art has an error. It had the number "75," which is Galactica's number, rather than Pegasus' number "62." Fans pressed to have the seal changed and it will be correct when the DVD comes out on December 4th.In other BSG news, the Caprica series may not be dead afterall. According to this report, Sci Fi execs have renewed interest in the BSG spin-off. They've finally realized that a spin-off might keep the passionate BSG crowd coming back to the Sci Fi Channel. They're reportedly waiting to see how ratings go for Razor before giving the Caprica pilot a greenlight.

Shouldn't they change the G too? It should read BSP 62.
And Sci-fi is dumb. If they wanted BSG fans to stay longer they should have given us two 13 episode seasons instead of one 20 episode season that they will most likely make into two seasons anyways.

I always thought the BSG stood for "Battle Star Group"

Is wanting something to be displayed correctly such a bad thing? Galactica DVDs have a history of incorrect displays on their box/menu art (i.e. glowing red eyes of Boomer and Six.) Calling us anal is a bit of a low blow imo.

@Akbar -- I actually gave that headline to Anna, so blame me. And it was meant mostly as a joke, so relax.

Sorry Keith, I haven't had my coffee yet this morning and am a little cranky ;) I totally get that it was meant as a joke, just not handled the best imo.
To me, a better way to handle the joke would have been "AnalIntense BSG Fans..."

The way I hear it....most of the main characters are not getting very many parts in the upcoming movie. In fact, some very important players are getting almost no parts. It seems unfair that these actors in BSG have busted their butts, and hung with this series all this time and then to be put on the sideline like this? I'm all for expanding storylines, AND I realize this is to be a Pegasus story, but I think the mainstream actors should be more in the limelight.

I'd like to get a copy of the misprint. My mother saved several things which had "Revenge of the Jedi" as the title of the last Star Wars installment. I don't know what those scraps of paper would be worth now, or in fifty years, but someday this will have some value too.
