Okay, I'm the kind of person who likes to take a quick peek at the end of a novel as I'm reading it. For some reason it doesn't seem to spoil the journey along the way for me. Beware -- extreme Survivor China spoilers after the jump!
Now, I have favorite spoilers sites for just about any show I watch. For me, the best Survivor spoilers site is Survivor Fever. Between that site and the various online betting venues available, I get my spoilers fix.
Here's the skinny on what I've gathered:
- The first boot (tonight) will be Steve "Chicken" Morris. If that's true, it's not all that surprising to me. He's older, doesn't look in great shape. But I think he'll be fun to watch and I'm holding out hope that the spoiler is wrong.
- The second boot (next week) will be Ashley Massaro, the WWE wrestler. I'm sure that will come as a disappointment to many heterosexual male viewers, but I don't think I'll miss her much. Her interview on the CBS site didn't thrill me.
- Rumors, not substantiated, have both Leslie and Sherea out of the game early, as well. This was based on someone enlarging a challenge board in the base camp video on the CBS site.
- There will be no car given away this season. Farewell, Survivor Car Curse!
- The merge is set for Episode 7.
- Exile Island is gone, but the hidden Immunity Idol is hidden in plain sight.

That seems earlier, this might be a tell that one side is wiped out disproportionately to the other side.

Steff, I was thinking the same thing. We had Daniele's whining in BB8, now we have Courtney whining in Survivor China! Maybe it's something in the air this year. ;-)

I feel like I survived this summer's terrible BB8 so now I can kick back and enjoy reading your stuff here and watching the fab Fall line up, with this one topping the list. Will you be writing for TV Squad for Heroes by any chance????? How can we tell them we'd like that???

I was actually sorry to see Chicken go tonight. I thought he may have been an interesting character to watch.
Courtney was on my last nerve the minute she opened her mouth, and then her complete and total disrespect in the welcoming ceremony at the temple was the final nail in that coffin. She can go home any time.
I think I will enjoy the locale for this season, as I find China very interesting, so looks like it may be good!! I am hoping for some strong gamesmanship this season!
