Can't get enough Evel Dick and Daniele?

Daniele DonatoWell, it seems that people just can't get enough Evel Dick. If you're not a fan of Big Brother 8, that sentence might sound just a tad odd. No, I'm not into soft porn although I've heard it can be a fairly lucrative pursuit. But that's not what I'm here for, not at all.

I'm here because the folks at TV Tattler have a new interview with both Dick and Daniele Donato, first and second place winners of the recently ended Spool of Lies. The ex-estranged, now just bickering on and off but much closer father and daughter duo answered some of the questions which are in the hearts and minds of the forever faithful Big Brother viewers.

Um, well ... it's kind of a schmaltzy situation, so I feel the need to schmaltz!

Although I think you should read the interview in its entirety, I'd like to touch on a few of the questions here and toss in my two cents.

Daniele only said "It just sucks" just once in the interview. Perhaps when she gets out and about in the real world, she'll reconsider her use of that phrase. I'd suggest a substitute phrase. For example, when she feels the need to say "it sucks" she could substitute "Vampires DO exist." There, that would work and even gets the same meaning across. Of course, folks might start talking about her mental stability, but I'm not charging for this advice.

How easily they forget ... I just got through three months of watching the live feeds and hearing Daniele whine about how much she hated being in the house, hated all the people there and on and on. While she mentions she felt that way, now that she's out it's miraculously the experience of a lifetime which she will treasure forever. Okaaay.

Evel Dick is still shocked that America voted for him to win the game. America itself seems to be shocked, at least a portion of it. I personally wasn't surprised, but I watched the feeds all summer. He did play more of a strategic game and the other housemates saw it. With Eric's help, they saw it. But if they had hated him so much, Eric wouldn't have been able to change their minds.

Ohhh ... Daniele refused to answer the question about the relationship with Nick! What's up with that? I heard in other venues that Nick is planning to move to California to be closer to her. I personally think Eric and Jessica have a better chance of a longterm relationship and I'm calling that one dear friends by the time a year goes by!

They don't mention that anyone's told them about Eric making money, about as much as Daniele's winnings, for being America's Player. Now, there would be the question I'd want to ask them. How do they feel about that? Daniele thought Eric was just a weird guy doing weird things. Well, yeah, there's that.

Another question I would ask if I got a shot at them -- I'd ask Evel Dick why he felt the need to have that wallet huge chain doohickey on all summer. If I'm not mistaken, that chain should lead to a wallet. Why would he carry a wallet locked in a house all summer? Did he have it just in case he jumped the wall? I guess it could have been a fashion statement, but it looked like a darned uncomfortable one.

The interview ended with Dick going all schmaltzy on us once again. He said he didn't care about the money, the important thing is that he and his daughter are closer again. Aww, how sweet, huh?

But they're both planning trips to Europe. Not together, but they'll meet up.
