Last season's finale of ABC's Grey's Anatomy did a decent job of wrapping up storylines featured throughout a somewhat disappointing season: the wedding, the race for the chief position, the exams, and the status of the MeDer relationship.Even if the finale didn't leave us hanging all summer, it did ask some questions, such as: will Derek hook up with Lexie (Meredith's sister) or properly patch things up with Meredith, will Weber follow Derek's suggestion and stay, will George admit he loves Izzie and will he return to Seattle Grace, etc.? As Jonathan put it in his review of the finale: "Lots of questions, but as I said... no rush to find out the answers."
Spoilers after the jump!
- George will redo his internship at Seattle Grace. He'll end up being one of Meredith's interns.
- Callie will find out about Gizzie. It is unknown how she'll react to the news but we know she will act and react! Elsewhere, Callie will struggle with the fact she is now Chief Resident. Some of the other doctors, especially Bailey, will find it difficult to report to Callie.
- Lexie will not hook up with Derek. Rumors say that she'll get with Alex instead. Lexie will be one of Cristina's interns.
- Lexie will try to at befriend Meredith. The latter is rumored to patch things up with Derek.
- Richard will return as Chief of Surgery. He'll also get back with Adele.
- Burke's mother will pay Cristina a visit in order to get her son's belongings after he quit his job at Seattle Grace (for those who may have missed the ton of articles we posted about Isaiah Washington over the summer, he was fired from Grey's and won't return as Burke, even for one scene). What Mama Burke won't get is half of the wedding presents since Cristina will try to trade them for surgeries!
- Alex's Jane Doe from last season will be back for one episode.
- Gilmore Girls' Edward Herrmann will appear in three episodes as an intern. Yep, an intern. It's more than likely that he'll either a) transfer, b) quit the program, c) be fired from the program, d) die.
- Mark, aka McSteamy, will get more screen time and storylines this season. He will also get some lovin'.

I am also in no rush to find the answers.
Grey's Anatomy is so Ally McBeal 2.0 and will hopefully have a mercifully shorter run.

Oreo: Yep, he's the world's oldest intern. Casting calls for the role were for a doctor but Kristin from E! and Ausiello mentioned he was an intern. Maybe he decided to get into medicine as a second career?

MORE screentime for Sloan? And here I thought they couldn't possibly come up with more reasons to make me not want to watch season 4. I was wrong.

More McSteamy?? His entire storyline is stupid.
A hospital with cutting edge neuro and cardiovascular programs would never hire a plastic surgeon as the chief of surgery. The fact that he was going for it was pretty dumb.
Have you seen the interviews of the cast since Washington left? They seem absolutely giddy. :-)
