Ben 10 live-action movie wraps filming

Ben 10: Race Against TimeThe Cartoon Network announced today that they've completed work on the first live-action Ben 10 movie, Ben 10: Race Against Time. Directed by Alex Winter (yes, that same Alex Winter of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure fame), the adaptation of the hit kid's animated show stars Graham Philips as Ben, and Lee Majors as his Winnebago-driving Grandpa who accompanies Ben and sister Gwen on their many adventures.

If you're not familiar with Ben 10, then you're probably over the age of 12, don't have kids of your own, and/or aren't a comic-book loving, nerf-toy wielding, anime-watching geek. I probably fall into the latter category, because Ben 10 is one of my favorite animated shows. In fact, should I even be admitting out loud that I dressed up as Ben Tennyson for Halloween last year?

The show revolves around ten year old Ben Tennyson who finds an alien artifact called the Omnitrix, which looks like a watch and allows him to turn into one of ten different alien lifeforms for a short period of time. Of course, combine a ten year old kid with something meant to defend the galaxy with, and you'll have wacky adventures.

Later in the series, Ben develops a nemesis named (and I'm not making this up) Kevin 11, and they go toe-to-toe in several episodes. However corny it may sound, I still love the darn thing. And hey, this live-action version has the Bionic Man in it. How can you go wrong? Speaking of Lee Majors, anyone else see The Brothers Solomon? It looks like he's manning the comeback trail. Can The Fall Guy movie be far behind?
