While tonight's Big Brother 8 show will be a taped recap kind of show, the 24/7 live feeds have been the real and current deal. Now, mind you, that doesn't mean that it's been sit on the edge of your seat excitement with just the Donatos in the house since Thursday night.But in the wee hours of this morning, after the ShoToo feeds ended, we had what will probably be the most exciting news until next season on the real feeds. Oh, I don't mean we saw it, but we definitely witnessed the aftermath. Although blocked to the feeds, the jury questioning started at midnight Eastern Time.

The feeds were blocked for nearly two hours and, when they returned, it doesn't sound like it was a pretty scene. I don't know if any of the jury speeches will reach the infamy of Susan Hawke's "dying in the desert, wouldn't give you a drink" one about snakes and rats ... but it sounds like the Tuesday finale is must see TV for any Big Brother fan even if you don't like the final two.
From the questions and reactions, it seems that both Dick and Daniele believe the jury will be voting for Dick to win first prize. Of course, Dick is still on the entire "family win" kick, but Daniele is taking it all personally. They haven't talked about specific questions on the feeds, but this is the skinny I have:- Amber reamed Daniele in her questioning.
- Daniele thinks all of the jury members think she rode on her father's coattails and didn't deserve to be in the final two.
- Daniele hates all of them.
- Daniele hates this house.
- Daniele hates that she always lives in the shadow of her father.
- Daniele thinks it all just SUCKS!
- Dick thinks he can't win with Daniele. He said he didn't campaign against her and isn't responsible for the jury's decision.
- Dick told Daniele that she played the game well and reminded her of all the competitions she won.
- Dick told us (not Daniele) that Daniele's problem is that she's always complaining and has wanted to leave the house since the third week. (I'm thinking without looking back that must have been the week Nick got the boot?)

As far as the estrangement between the two, I think Dick picked up some sympathy votes along the way.

Go Dick! I can't stand him, but he played a smart game. And his final redeeming quality is that he would share his winnings with his family, while Danielle would happily throw him under a bus.

I say they both agree to split the winnings, both should be happy enough with that. It is a catch 22, damn if you do and damned if you don't. I believe they both played a hell of a game, they both needed each other to get this far. Dick didn't do more or Daniele didn't didn't more. I believe they were very equal with there competitions and strategies.

Danielle deserves to win...she was the best competitor!
They should split the money in half and Dick should pay her any monies owed to her in unpaid child support (if any) so she can do more with her life than just waitressing. Time to get serious Danielle!

Don't worry about the closed minds, Jackie. Your blog has been the best thing, in my opinion, this Big Brother season. I hope you'll be blogging next season as well.
It was a fairly ragtail bunch to choose from; but I wanted Dick to win from the beginning. While I found his intimidation tactics to be very rough at times, his technique apparently worked for him.
I wonder if the jury choosing Dick to win would be due to Eric's influence or because they simply don't want to see that much money go to a self-absorbed, immature, 20 year old. Yes, Danielle was good at winning competitions; but she was poor at winning friends. Dick, during his affable moments, was actualy amusing to have around.

Dani has wanted to leave since WEEK ONE when her dad showed up. Nothing to do with Nick at all... she's, in her own words...."sooooooooo frustrated........."Kinda like Wahhhhmber having the body of a model.....Daniele has created her own hell. I don't much care for Dick's appearance or his tactics as far as the game is concerned, but you gotta give it to him for trying to be a father!I hope he takes the half mil and uss it to go to Bora Bora with his gay punk band, which, of course, will include Joe & Bunky!

At least Dick speaks his mind - and he does it to your face. Tho I think he acts like an impudent 12 yr old, this is what grownups do - they say what they think to your face!
Does Danielle have a mind to speak?
Also, it was nice to hear that Dick has plans for his prize money. I can hear whiney-Dani now: "Oh...this SUCKS! The money is GONE!! Now I'll have to go on All-Stars....THAT SUCKS!"

Daniele was nowhere when the money was on the line. Dick came through like a champion. If Zach would have won the final HOH, Daniele would be on the jury and getting zilch for her earlier victories. Sure, she was a bad-ass for most of the competitions but in the final 7, she only won 1 while Dick won 3 and Zach won 3. Give her second money and maybe she'll grow up. Giving her the big dough would be such a mistake. It was Dick's show anyway, wasn't it?
