Are you ready for the double eviction on Big Brother 8 tonight? Well, I'll let you in on something which isn't truly a spoiler -- the houseguests aren't ready! They think tonight is going to be like every other Thursday live eviction show. That should make for some excitement, right?Who will go home tonight? I think I might know that one, at least in the first eviction. What did Janelle have to say about Jen and the sequester house? I've got that for you, too.
After the jump, of course. Beware -- there will be spoilers ahead!
I'd like to touch on the Janelle chat from last night for a moment. Bear with me if you're not a Janelle fan. It could be worse -- next week it will be Howie and possibly Kaysar in the chat.
Janelle is a Dick and Daniele fan for this season. She thinks Daniele will probably win it all. That flirting you saw between Evel Dick and Janelle was the real thing. She thinks he's hot. Uh-oh. She said that he has charm and charisma when he's being nice and Jen didn't play him right or she wouldn't have made an enemy of him. Janelle admitted that if she didn't have a boyfriend, she would indeed consider dating Dick. Yipes!
Janelle also told us something she classified as a rumor when she was asked about the sequester house. She said that while she was at CBS, someone said Jen was packing her bags. Then the person said Jen hadn't actually left. The sequester house itself might not exist and the evicted houseguests could be being sequestered separately in apartments according to Janelle.
Inside the house itself, Eric and Jessica had a major make-out session. That's it, she can go tonight ... please! Eric really seems to have fallen for her. But in watching their showmance develop, I just don't see reciprocation on her part. I think she's using him. Can you believe that?
Most of today was spent cleaning house and primping for the live show. Jessica and Jameka packed as per the nominees normally do. If tonight works like last season when they did it all in one night, the second person evicted tonight will receive their belongings later, packed by their fellow housemates. Chances are that the second Head of House competition will be an endurance one.
Oh. You want to know who will be evicted in the first round tonight? It looks like Jessica will be voted out 2-1. Eric has been pushing for a Jameka boot and that seems the choice for America's Player. Dick has been leading Jessica and Eric on by telling them that Jameka is the target. Dick told Jameka that she was the target.
But ... she's not!

I'm new to Big Brother this year...if you use the power of veto, could the HOH put the person who won the veto up for elimination? What I am saying is that if Zach won, he would veto Eric and Dick would have to put up Danielle if the veto person can't be put in the vote. That would have been a way to kill the Donato alliance as Eric and Zach would vote out Danielle. Was this possible?

Yes that is possible and would have been a smart thing to do but Zach is dumb and can't think for himself. If he used the veto and Danielle went up Eric/Jameka and Zach could have voted her out because she is probably the strongest player left in the game and hasn't really stab anyone in the back besides Eric and Jess. It should get interesting to see how the jury will vote now with three people left, Dick, Danielle and Zach,that the jury aren't on good terms with and then Jameka who will most def win if she gets to the finals.

I said it over and over. Eric and Jessica messed up last week by not using the POV. If they'd taken Amber or Zach off, they could have put Dick or Danielle up and they'd be gone. If they'd taken Zach off, when he won HoH, it's possible he would have been more appreciative and not used Jessica as "a pawn". The game would be completely different. Ah well. I know they went back and forth and back and forth over whether they should use it and stab the Donatos in the back, but c'mon, how could you NOT see that they would do the EXACT SAME THING? When will these people learn to break up the alliances that are around the longest? (sigh)
Honestly, at this point, I don't even care anymore. I dislike every one of the people that are left. The only thing that could make this season worse is if Zach actually won for doing absolutely nothing the entire game.

Fate is a funny thing. Zach held the fate of the Donatos' in his hands when he held the power of veto. As was mentioned, had he taken Eric off the block, Dick would have been forced to put Danielle up and she would have been voted out by Zach and Eric, thus breaking the Donato reign. The Big Brother voters also would have loved to see the back of Danielle judging by their instructions (albeit too late) for Eric.
I think at this point Jameka, who coasted the entire season, will end up winning. As I said above, fate is a funny thing....

if zach used the veto - he'd be a fool! in the end zack wants to be sitting next to dick or danielle (all the evicted hg's hate them) thus zach wins! however if zach is sitting next to jameka or eric in the end .... who's going to win??? not zach!!! so zach did the right thing for himself =}

Jameka hasn't coasted through the game. She has put up with allot of crap from Dick and has been on the block multiple times. Plus she hasn't been able to play HOH for 5 weeks straight. She deserves to win if she makes it to the end. It's the other House Guest fault for leaving her in and now can play for HOH.
@SLO
The truth is I think the sequestered house guest would rather give the money for Dick or Dani then to give the money to Zach. All the house guest couldn't stand him and he is actually someone that didn't do squat. This giving other evicted house guest a reason to give Dick and Dani the money due to how they played the game VS not playing the game like Zach did.
But I will agree with others that Jameka will probably win if she makes it to the finals. She will have Justin/Amber/Jessica and more then likely Eric's vote.

The biggest losers are the people watching this game and the American public at large.
So much abuse has been witnessed. ED's actions and language toward women has been reprehensible. This is verbal abuse at its worse. Not surprising that CBS has allowed his verbiage garbage to go on and on. It's no wonder that Jen snapped both literally (his cigs) and figuratively. I am surprised that Allison, the producer, and who I am assuming is a woman, has not done something to mitigate the many ugly moments that featured ED's abuse.
It is a statement on the mental health of the USofA that the majority would rather tolerate mean-spirited, negative, lying, cheating, manipulative behavior in people devoid of any integrity, whilst condemning a self-centered but fairly benign individual like Jen who bucks the status quo and displays an upbeat demeanor, whether feign or genuine (no pun intended) as a defense mechanism against all the negativity around her. It was no wonder when it was revealed that she is a smart, intelligent woman who excelled scholastically. She may not have the street smarts to have totally deflected ED's demonic tantrums. She has clearly not been indoctrinated in the machinations of people's selfish motives. Yes, Jen is self-centered, but she is not selfish. She was genuinely bothered when people back-stabbed her. I am not a Jen fan, but I wish her luck and hope she doesn't become jaded and buy into the whole evil triumphs over good.
There is a reason that people like ED and Dani cannot sleep well.
I hope that one day ED realizes that his calling a woman a c**t, b***h, w***e, will only serve to cast more unhappiness in him. His sarcasm and anger (sarcasm is anger's ugly cousin) are symptomatic of one who is deeply depressed and ultimately unfulfilled.
ED doesn't realize that by virtue of calling these women names, he is calling his daughter the same thing. I have yet to meet another man who can use epithets on women, yet truly not feel deep down the same for the women in his life, that includes his mother, his grandmother, his sisters, his daughters, and his wife. The lack of respect one feels toward another human being usually includes the lack of respect he feels towards those within his circle.
ED may one day realize that the women he called these despicable names also have fathers, and brothers, and sons. That is to say, how would he feel if some man called his Dani, mother, or sister these names. As the eldest person in the household, he has shown the least amount of wisdom, restraint, and selflessness. He definitely led by example and many in the household took his cue. Too bad his example can be found in any low-rent, high-crime barroom. Oh, wait, he is a barkeep.
I often wonder why boys and young men call their GFs or wives b*****s, w****s (hos), sk**k... aren't they sticking their own appendages in these very same women they lack respect for? And these men really want a part of their anatomy to be involved with these b*****s, sk***s, and w****s? Then why not just use an animal since it would be more compliant.
Danielle is her father's daughter. By the polls, it appears that most of those watching BB8 identifies with her. Like they say, birds of a feather flock together.
America is in trouble. It has lost its moral compass. Decency is out the window. We are the good old red white and blue . . . red-neck, blue collar and white trash!
Wake up, America. Put something of value on TV. Champion those with decency and intelligence. Give the world less of this crap by which to judge your people by. Instead, give the world more of what made this country the beacon of innovation, goodness, fairness, diversity, and integrity that other countries looked up to.

I think that I too could go off on a big rant like GoodRichard. But I too am too busy watching the show and reading the blogs. And I am especially burned about the fake sequester house this season. Didn't Julie even tell Eric he would be seeing Jessica in the sequester house? Hmm...
