Look, a family sitcom that's NOT on Disney or Nickelodeon which been renewed for another season! How unique!
TBS has ordered up a second season of 10 episodes of The Bill Engvall Show. The comedy, which entered the television landscape back in July, premiered with fairly strong ratings and remained the number two sitcom among adults 18-49 on ad-supported cable (fancy talk for basic cable) for the rest of its freshman season.
The show stars comedian Bil Engvall (The Blue Collar Comedy Tour) as a family counselor whose own family isn't as perfect as you would think. It also stars Nancy Travis as his wife and Tim Meadows as his best friend.
I say good for Bill and TBS. The traditional three-camera, live audience sitcom has nearly gone the way of the dinosaur. It's nice to see someone picking up the torch for this type of program.

OK show. Love to guess where the "product placement" products are, then see the commercials to see if we picked it right. Gotta love steam bags, Miracle Whip, and Sonic!
And by the way...in the clips they show of the family on the couch, there is a dog. Has it been in any episode yet?

I have always loved bill as a comic and with Jeff Foxworthy and the guys on Blue Collar comedy show. I can laugh for hours at all of them, they can be funny without being nasty. Hope the show stays on the air and all the people that don't like it just watch something else and stop putting the south down, if you are from the north watch other stuff.like muder,or horror shows.
