One of the most talked about new show this season is definitely ABC's Pushing Daisies, a show about a man who can revive the dead by touching them. He uses his power to solve crimes and collect the rewards. (Learn more about the show by reading TV Squad's Comic-Con report on the show's panel.) Since Pushing Daisies is getting a lot of hype, maybe we should get to know its lead actor: Lee Pace.Even though he only started getting roles on TV and in movies in 2002, Pace has been acting since his teenage years. He even dropped out of high school in order to perform at the local theater. He eventually got his high school diploma and studied acting at Juilliard. Upon graduation he returned to the theater world and starred in off-Broadway productions like The Credeaux Canvas.
Somehow, my brain had totally forgotten that Pace appeared in the brilliant-yet-canceled-too-soon Wonderfalls. Pace played Aaron Tyler, brother of the lead character Jaye. Besides Wonderfalls, Pace appeared on TV in one episode of Law & Order: SVU and in the made-for-TV movie Soldier's Girl.
Most of his acting work was done in movies such as The White Countess with Natasha Richardson, Infamous with Sigourney Weaver and Gwyneth Paltrow, and The Good Shepherd with Matt Damon. He also has two movies in the works: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day with Frances McDormand and Possession with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Lee Pace was nominated for various awards thanks to his brilliant performance in Soldier's Girl. He won the "Breakthrough Award" in the 2003 edition of the Gotham Awards.
Pace was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and was raised in the Middle East, New Orleans, and Houston, Texas.

Lee Pace was always so much more fun to watch than Jaye's love interest in *Wonderfalls.* It's nice to see him getting good work, although I'm still not convinced the quirky *Pushing up Daisies* is going to fine a decent-sized audience.

I think this show is even more hugely overrated than Studio 60. It will last about 3 weeks, it's just not that good. The first half an hour is narrated way too much and it feels too cartoony, won't last long. It's too crazy, and not as great as it could be.

I saw the preview and I must say it is one of the best television that I've seen in a while. The writing is *snap* *snap* and very witty. It feels cartoony on purpose because it tries to lighten up the subject of death.
I certainly can't wait for more episodes in October!

Anyone who does not like this show has no creativity, no imagination, and no remnant of fantasy and adventure. They are perfect examples of what being a stick-in-the-mud is. How boring it must be to be a cement head who can't and won't appreciate the fairy-tale aspect of this wonderful show.
The first episode was absolutely wonderful. I did not like the second episode at all...it was stupid. But tonight's episode was great, and I am looking forward to future episodes. So, all of you cement heads can go watch your boring reality shows which have an utter lack of imagination and creativity.

I love love love Pushing Daisies. It is such a breath of fresh air that boring tv land needed. Im tired of boring serious shows about murder, terrorist, sex and all things evil. There is something innocent about it. It's very old fashioned love story. Its something the whole family can watch. I cant wait for wed nights!!! And Lee Pace is dreamy too!!!!
