Wow, it's been wild in the Big Brother 8 house! Just look at the picture on the right! Evel Dick has been offed by a crazed Jameka! I know I should confine spoilers from the live feeds to the continued page, but this news is just too big to hide!Ahem.
I lied. He's just sleeping. But the veto ceremony has gone down. While the show has only aired the nominations, I have the skinny on the Power of Veto winner and whether it was used or not. Join me after the jump for real show spoilers.
I told you the last time I posted that the Power of Veto was won by Daniele. At the time, she said she didn't intend on using it and it seemed that Jameka was the target.
Well, things change. As time went on, the more they discussed it, the more Daniele and Dick wanted to go back on their deal with Jessica and Eric. While Eric has blind faith in the deal, not so with Jessica. She's been leery of them all along and has felt that she's the target this week.Zach was adamant about getting Jameka out this week, but he's easily turned by Daniele paying him the slightest bit of attention ... and she knows it. But, since he can't vote as the Head of House this week, the power is in Daniele and Dick's hands with Eric being the third vote. The only reason to be nice to Zach is so that they can use him in the future.
The Power of Veto ceremony was held this morning and there were no surprises. Daniele did not use the veto and it's still Jessica and Jameka on the block. Dick went to Jameka to warn her that she was the target this week. Now, he did this out of the goodness of his heart because he himself would like advance warning that he was to be evicted if that were the case.
Liar!
He's doing it to throw off Jameka, Eric, and Jessica! Jessica will go into Thursday's show without having a clue that she's to be evicted and Eric will be in a shambles for the Head of House comp. At least, that's Evel Dick's plan.
But will it work? Already both Jameka and Jessica are leery about Dick telling Jameka she's the target. Jessica is really thinking that she (Jessica) is the target, not Jameka. Eric, still trying to believe what could be verging on unbelievable, doesn't know why Dick told Jameka, but still believes Jameka is the target. Right now it looks like Jessica will be evicted 2-1 on Thursday or 3-0 if America's Player forces Eric's vote to evict Jessica.
In other house news, Eric went around mimicking Evel Dick. So, it seems he completed his America's Player task from Sunday's show. Evel Dick wasn't too happy about it.
The houseguests think there are still over three weeks left of the season and they're thinking a week longer than there actually is left. They have no clue a double eviction with two people going home on Thursday is planned. Shhh ... let's not tell them.

I'm liking D&D breaking the deal...its the right time. I feel bad for Eric, and Jess, i do like em both more than Jameka, but if Danielle has a chance of winning, jessica can't be there, and neither can anyone else but her dad really...so they need to start chopping ppl down now, and not worry about jury votes, because i really think the only way either of them would get jury votes was if there was no one to choose that didnt have the last name Donato.
A Zach win would be fine by me, just because he's probably been the least nasty and had the least drama in the house. Also would be fine with an Eric victory, as he has done an amazing job aligning himself with people he realized America was aligning him with thru the AP votes, and he's a squirmy little bastard, and i respect that in a reality show contestant. I'm indifferent on Jessica, would prefer Danielle not to win, but it would be better than Jameka winning...of course Dick is an ideal choice, but there's not chance in hell this guy is going to get enough votes from anywhere to hand him 500k...u think Jen or Dustin would EVER vote for Dick in a million yrs, nope. And that means whoever Dick is up against in the end is already halfway to a half mil with 2 votes in their pocket...
the double eviction should be good, as we haven't seen too many twists and turns in that department by the new production team. Don't know how the format's going to go, but it might b an immediate nom, immediate vote type situation, which means whoever the new HoH is better be quick on their feet...

@ 4. You missed the part where Danielle is the most whiney, self-centered, 'entitled' brat.
Makes me almost feel sorry for Dick.

I think it's actually bad strategy for ED to vote out Jessica this week. If they vote out Jameka, it keeps their alliance for one more week, which pretty much guarantees that Zach goes home next week, since he can't compete for HoH. Breaking their alliance now (by voting out Jessica), pits Eric against them, which means there is a chance of him winning HoH, in which case both of them go up (well, technically America will probably vote Jameka as one of his choices, but they still don't know he is America's player, so they can't know that). Even if one of them wins HoH instead, there is a chance of one of them ending up on the block anyway, if someone else not on the block wins and uses the Veto, forcing the Donato HoH to put up the other Donato as the only choice, leaving them in control of zero votes, and one of them goes home. Either of these scenarios are completely avoided if they keep their alliance for this week.
Besides next week, Jury votes are another consideration. I think the ONLY chance ED has of winning $500K on Jury votes is if he keeps his alliance with Eric and Jessica, which means he might keep Jessica's vote. Without Jessica's vote, there's no chance of ED winning on votes, since there are a lot of people that hate him in the Jury house. So he's completely throwing away his chances at the $500K.
I think it's good for Danielle and Zach if Jameka stays. Danielle knows her dad is a bigger target than she is (and everyone thinks her dad controls her), so by breaking their alliance, she knows she's not going to take the heat. And obviously it's good for Zach because breaking the alliance saves him. In other words, ED is making a decision that helps three of the other players in the game (Danielle, Zach, and Jameka), while hurting his own chances immensely.
Obviously Jessica is one of the stronger competitors (more so than Jameka), so the only real benefit is that in the final four, they have one less strong competitor than if they kept their alliance to the final four. However, Danielle really doesn't need to be threatened by either of them.
Time will obviously tell. If the Donato's win some key competitions, this mistake won't matter and they'll be seen as "brilliant". However, if Eric wins HoH on Thursday, breaking their alliance may appear to be a collosal blunder.

you really haven't seen jameka play for the head of household because she has to sit them out so don't think she isn't a threat. but i really think that jessica has to go now.

ED & DANIELLE, PLEASE DON'T BREAK THIS ALLIANCE, I WILL COMPLETELY BE DONE WITH BOTH OF YOU. NOT THAT YOU CARE, BUT YOU WILL HAVE NO CHANCE OF WINNING WITH A JURY WHO HATES YOU BOTH AND WITH ERIC AND JESSICA TRUSTING YOU AND ZACH, YOU HAVE A CHANCE. GET RID OF JAMEKA NOW.

Why is everyone so against Jameka? She has been the most honest and upfront person in this whole game. If more people had a relationship with God in this world, it would be better and there would be less of you rooting for someone who chooses to call themselves "Evel Dick". True, the "your mama is a bitch" moment was not stellar, but it was a mistake and a direct response to ED's abuse. One can only take so much. I'm not sure where this huge ED revolution has come from, but he is quite abusive and I cannot believe people are actually rooting for him to win. I like Jessica, too, so I am not excited about this week's nominations because one of them is definitely going home.

There is no reason for America to be badgering Jameka. It makes no sense. I love honesty, but I DO believe she should have played the game a little more differently. Why in the WORLD are people rooting for ED? He makes me laugh, yeah, but I do not wanna see him win! Of course I want him and his daughter to repair their relationship, but really only so much can be done while being taped on television. They need to agree to see a family counselor or something.
The BEST player move from Zach should have been to break up the alliance between D/D and Jess/Eric. Thats what I would have done if I were him. Why are these people trying to vote out a person who can't even compete for HOH? Some people are too easily persuaded by others and the others doing the persuading are not THINKING. The alliance should be broken up and THEN lets see who is the strongest player. I wonder how well Danielle and Eric will do without their buddy-alliance...

This is absollutely the worst BB ever. There has not been one person for me to cheer on. They are all awful people. Whiney and just plain stupid. How was this cast choosen? Dick is a pig. There is just no other name for him. He should have been thrown off the show when he tried to burn Jen. She only crime was being dumb. I don't blame her for eating she knew she was going home. As for Eric. Watch him late night and see him try to be as fowl mouthed as Dick. He is almost there. Pig in training. Is it possible for all of them to Loose. That would make me so happy.
