Get ready for some more dancing on the ABC television network. In addition to the 70 hours of weekly programming you'll get when Dancing with the Stars returns to the schedule in a few weeks there will be a new series premiering mid-season that will pit two of the show's judges in competition.
The show is called Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann and is hosted by former Stars champion Drew Lachey. The six-week program will feature judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as they work with amateur performers who can dance and sing. The result will be the formation of "the ultimate dance team". Open auditions for the show will be held this month in New York, Nashville and Los Angeles.
Also premiering later this season is Tom Bergeron has a Nervous Breakdown, which challenges the host of Dancing with the Stars and America's Funniest Home Videos to host as many programs as he can before he collapses into a sobbing pile of pudding.

This'll be the equivalent of Dance X which has just finished airing in the UK, also presented by Bruno Tonioli (with UK Strictly Come Dancing/Dancing with the Stars co-judge Arlene Philips).
It's a so-so format and six weeks is plenty enough for it.
