No, not the TV Funhouse from Saturday Night Live (that's already on DVD, a best of). I'm talking about the short-lived Comedy Central series that that Robert Smigel did in 2000-2001. Paramount has announced that the DVD is coming in December.
If you've never seen the show, it was truly one of the more bizarre TV shows we've ever seen on television. It took the form of a kids shows hosted by Doug Dale and his "Anipals," really crass, creepy puppets. Each show had a "theme," such as "Western Day" or "Christmas Day" or "Astronaut Day."
I can't wait to see this show again, because I remember being slightly disappointed in it, that it wasn't as funny as it should have been (though I find the SNL TV Funhouse and Triumph The Insult Comic Dog hysterical). Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood when it came out, so I'll check it out again.
Lots of guest stars on these shows, including Bob Odenkirk, Robert Goulet, John Ritter, and Hootie and the Blowfish.

I remember this show, and it was not bad, but it was not great. IIRC only a handful of episodes aired. It was the one guy and his animal friends. I think it was suposed to a parody of PeeWee. I know the dog would spin around and chase its tail, and the snake would eat something for the viewer to guess what he eat.

I was rewatching this show last year. True, the series is uneven. The show with Robert Goulet and Triumph is great.

That's awesome! I had every episode on tape, but one of the tapes broke. Happy is me.

I so have been searching for this video on one TV Funhouse. It was after 9/11. It involved Spongebob Squarepants and propaganda films for the U.S. government. I want to see this so bad.

OMG, please Comedy Central, while you are rolling out the early-21st-century DVD releases, please put out a Travel Sick DVD!

Depends upon your sense of humor, as my ribs often ached watching the Anipals try to rescue chicks from occult, or the turtle's house of worship or any insane bits from this gem.

I wonder if the DVD will have "Porn for Kids" instead of "Porn for Everyone"? The show was great as I have the shows on tape as well.
