The second season's of NBC's hit show Heroes may only begin in a month but that doesn't prevent the nice people behind the show for giving us hints about what is to come. The series just launched YamagatoFellowship.org, a new website linked to the show's mythology. This site is dedicated to the Yagamato Fellowship, founded by Kaito Nakamura (played by George Takei) and the famous samurai Takezo Kensei (who will be played by Alias' David Anders).TV Guide reveals that the site will feature a five-part web series called Sword Saint. (At the moment I write this, there are no videos in the videos/events section.) Heroes' creator Tim Kring revealed to TV Guide that the web series is more a mockumentary than a documentary. Sword Saint will feature professors (played by actors, of course) who share their knowledge of the legend of Takezo Kensei.
Each of the three- to four-minute webisodes will be narrated by The Lord of the Rings' John Rhys-Davies. This series will tell the stories Hiro was told as a child. We will see Kensei battle snake women, defeat close to a hundred cannibals, etc. However, don't expect this web series to give you the answer as to why a Caucasian actor is playing a samurai. Luckily, we only have a month to wait for the answer to be given to us. Fans who don't watch Sword Saint will not be lost when Heroes returns. However, those who do will find added pleasure.
YamagatoFellowship.org also features a welcome video from Kaito Nakamura (if someone can provide us a translation, it would be greatly appreciated) and background information on various legendary characters such as Crazy Horse, Thor, and Kensei.

Was the website too complicated? The translation is right there on the front page.

tozmervo: The website wasn't too complicated, I just didn't know it was the same message as in the clip. It could have been different.
