- One of the storylines of Season 7 will revolve around the death of the First Son, Roger. His death was classified as a suicide but his father, Henry, believes it was murder and wants to prove it. [Source: TV Squad]
- In an upcoming episode, Sarah attempts to have a one-night stand with a man she meets at a wedding. I am told she is definitely telling people she is separated and that Joe has gone back to his ex-wife. I'm also hearing Justin enters physical therapy once he returns home, and Rebecca is at his side. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
- The new coach (Chris Mulkey) gets fired in Episode 4. [Source: Michael Ausiello]
- According to Sara Ramirez (Callie), "I don't want to tease about anybody else's character, because I don't want anyone getting mad at me, but my character, Callie, is finally going to admit to herself what's going on with the relationship with George, and she's going to do something about it." - One major character is presumed dead in the season premiere (but isn't), but another will die in that very same episode! Also, there's another huge threat targeting all the Heroes that is far less attractive than Sylar. Claire's gonna have a new looove interest named West, and while she'll try to lie low at her new Cali school, the raging teenage hormones will get in the way. Hayden's hot hot hottie onscreen father Jack Coleman tells us: "It's fair to say that Claire does have a romance this year, and it's going to bring us into conflict." We caught up with James Kyson Lee at Hot in Hollywood, and he said, "Lots of things to look forward to in season two, including a new look for Ando...We'll probably move on from the Members Only jacket. And there [will] be parallel times, the modern time and the ancient Japan, so I'm...in the present day, going back and forth between New York and Japan, and there's going to be some kind of connection between me and Hiro...But you have to wait until Sept. 24 to find out." - Showing up in the season's fourth episode, Nichelle Nichols will play Nana, a New Orleans doyenne whose daughter died during Hurricane Katrina. "Nana is tough and undaunted and - like the blues - she just keeps rising to the occasion," Nichols says. The character, who is in dire financial straits, has moved back into her once-flooded home, where she cares for her two grandchildren. One of them, new hero Monica (The Nine's Dana Davis), is an avenging angel intent on bringing justice to the corruption-plagued Big Easy. Nana is also a great-aunt to Micah, the junior hero played by series regular Noah Gray-Cabey. "Micah is sent to New Orleans to live with the family," Nichols says. "It's a quite marvelous, magical story, with wonderful things emerging." Does Nana have a superpower? "Well, that remains to be seen, now doesn't it?" coos Nichols. [Source: TV Guide Online]
- Real-life smartypants Danica McKellar's back in this season's fourth episode as Ted's first-season one-night stand - you know, the one who climbed out of his fire escape the morning after. Well, she bumps into him at the bar and apologizes for shagging and running, and then proceeds to set her sights on him anew. But she'll find herself competing for his affections with an old sorority sister of hers - although "competing" might not be the right word since I hear there's some serious threesome potential here. [Source: Michael Ausiello]
- Julia and her new girlfriend (played by Ms. Portia de Rossi)-yes, I said girlfriend-will be the victims of a violent crime this year. I'm hearing the pair is kidnapped, sexually assaulted and left to deal with the emotional ramifications of the event for many episodes to come. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
- When the season starts, Peyton will be living in Los Angeles working as an assistant to the assistant of a music producer. Nathan, meanwhile, is in a wheelchair and has a 4-year-old son that's interested in basketball. He's also a raging alcoholic and bitter about life (Nathan, not his son). Mouth is trying desperately to be a sportscaster. [Source: Michael Ausiello]
- Episode 3 of One Tree Hill will feature a character called Jason, who is the lead singer of the band "No Means Yes". Peyton wants to sign the band but Jason is reluctant but eventually changes his mind and signs with Peyton. [Source: SpoilerTV]
- The first episode of the new season will feature a male rape, possibly involving one of our lead characters. [Source: Digital Spy]
- In "Action," one of the characters in this episode Ben, a production assistant on the Warrior Angel film. He glimpses Clark grabbing a bullet meant for the star of the film, and tells Clark he owes it to the world to use his powers. Could he be the crazed fan who is trying to kill the female lead? Lionel is being held against his will in an isolated cabin. [Source: KryptonSite]
- Miles Millar stated in no uncertain terms that Lana would be back, and would, for the first time, take a shot at an actual relation with the young man of steel. Aside from the Lana revelations, Millar made reference to the return of a mysterious and deadly villain but only teased the identity. [Source: Voices From Krypton]
- Kristin Kreuk has signed on for the upcoming season and Lana will definitely be back. Lana's salvation involves cloning. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
- Looks like Dean is going to have some trouble with the demon who stole his soul last season. A casting call has gone out for that very demon, and she just so happens to be in her mid-twenties, gorgeous and seductive. [Source: Michael Ausiello]
- Amanda and Marc will turn Fey Sommers' hidden room into their private clubhouse. Additionally, a search is underway for an actor to play Christina's Scottish hubby, and I'm hearing Victoria Beckham is having some issues with her work visa that could prevent her from showing up at Wilhelmina's wedding as planned. [Source: Michael Ausiello]
- Ignacio is trapped in Mexico because of his immigration status, even while Betty, Hilda and Justin are back in Queens. [Source: Watch with Kristin]

ac: I doubt the villain is Brainiac since James Marsters, the actor who played the character, is now a recurring on "Without a Trace". If he only returns for 1 episode, maybe they could fit a return in his schedule though.

Please tell me they're not going to inflict twice the Kristin Kreuk screen time on us on "Smalliville"...That would be unbearable, and a great reason to finally switch it off for good.

It's safe to assume that any new character on Heroes has a mutant power...since most existing characters do. I mean, it's almost irritating to watch...but I cannot resist despite my annoyance.

A Lana clone? That may be dumber than the illegal alien episode. I just hope the villian returning is Brainiac.

I can't think of any other villian worth bringing back. Maybe the millionare Rutger Hauer played in season 3 could return (if he is still alive I forget if Lex killed him or not). I thought he would be a good villian plus he knows about Clark's powers.

I'm amazed people still watch Smallville and a Lana clone would be what makes you stop watching.

Yes! No more Member's Only Jackets for Ando!! I love Hiro and Ando to death, but they did have awful clothes most of the time. And I'm glad that the two of them will still be communicating in some way. They're just adorable together.
