Last season's finale of FOX's hit show Prison Break introduced us to Sona, the Panama prison where Michael needs to serve time. When reviewing the last episode, TV Squadder Paul Goebel asked a few questions: What the hell is going on at Sona? Was getting Michael to Sona the endgame in all of this? Will he be the guinea pig in some awesome government experiment? Can Bellick suffer any more humiliation? The answers to some of these questions and more after the jump. Spoilers ahead!
- Michael, Mahone, Bellick, and T-Bag are all stuck in Sona wishing they were in Fox River instead.
- Sara seems to be held in captivity by at least one shady man. LJ ends up with her.
- Michael and Sara will get in contact by phone.
- Lincoln is a "free" man trying to get information to bust his bother out of prison.
- Mahone learns that his trial will be held in a year's time. This is very bad news for him because he'll not only have to survive at least twelve more months in Sona but he'll have to do it without his medication since it's not available within the walls.
- Bellick has a terrible time in Sona because he's at the bottom of the food chain. He makes a friend but it doesn't help his case as said friend is at the bottom too. Both of them will have to pay rent by washing latrines amongst other things.
- T-Bag makes friends with Lechero, the inmate who runs Sona from within. The man who officially runs Sona is Colonel Escamilla, but the man wouldn't dare entering the walls.
- Rumors say that there will be a crisis between Michael and Lincoln this season.
- Sucre tries to locate Maricruz.
- There are a few shady agents and operatives lurking around.

I'll stick by my previous prediction: The Company has someone inside Sona that they need Michael to break out.
Regarding LJ: Here's hoping his story ends in the season premiere. Isn't he a fugitive too? I seem to recall Mike & Lincoln busting him out and placing him with the folks working with his father.

Gordy: His story won't end in the premiere since he's there in episode 3. But I hope, like you, that we don't see him too much.

Also, LJ is not a fugitive. "Someone" got all of his charges dropped when he was in Arizona, and they wanted to kill him or kidnap him as he was leaving the courthouse or jail. He was saved by Linc and they left him with a family friend, I think.
I have been a fan of this show since episode 1, and I REALLY wish this show would have tanked in the first season. Season 2 sucked, and I wish they would have ended it all after season 1. I think that was the original plan, and the show exploded and now there are milking it for whatever they can get.
With that said, I will still watch Season 3, but whenever I go back and watch any of the episodes from season 1, I get reminded of what it could have been.

your nuts trevor season 2 wasn't as good as season 1 true but rarely ever do shows get better with age...season 2 did not suck by any means, especially compared to the other crap that's on tv these days ie american idol, the singing bee, gossip girls etc.....any who i think they can make it 4-5 seasons and then call it a day......still is very orignial and very exciting to watch in my book cant wait for season 3 to start and I am very happy they are re-airing the last 6 episodes of prison break with 2 episodes a night starting august 29th up to the sept 17th premiere
