Last week Adam reported that charges had been dropped against Dog the Bounty Hunter star Duane "Dog" Chapman, his son Leland, and work partner Tim, in a case involving illegal detention that took place in Mexico. Well, it looks like Dog and his bounty hunter friends aren't out of the woods yet.
According to AETV.com criminal prosecutors have filed an appeal to overturn the decision of the Puerto Vallarta First Criminal Court. According to Mexican legal law rulings against the prosecution are generally appealed as a matter of principle. However, despite these proceedings, the cancellation of the original arrest warrant for Duane and his posse still stands.
This all stems from a 2003 incident where Dog captured Max Factor heir and convicted rapist Andrew Luster in the Mexican resort town. He originally spent three days in a Mexican jail for that capture.

I can't believe theses charges, Dog did what he is suppose to do , track down crimals. i guess they have nothing better to do in the Mexican courts.

Thank the Good Lord above that justice is being served. The Chapman family works really hard to make our streets safer. Just thinking that Duane and his posse would possibly be extradited to Mexico was a travesty. Dropping the charges was the best news for all us americans but most importantly for Dog, Tim, Leland and all their family members. Stay just the way you all are Wonderful!! Love you all!!!

I was watching Glen Beck last night and about fell off my seat. I am absolutely shocked to hear that the US Government is trying to bring these charges back. Unreal. I got the name Mary Rodreguiz as a person to email, but not the other one, did anyone catch them or are they posted somewhere? I have checked the web and didn't find them. This is UNREAL.

Dog, tell them you have learned the lesson, this happened after you said you didn't know what this was about or why this happened on national TV, like it or not, someone will always try to get you when they think they can. That is what happens when you are good and unstoppable. MOVE ON, stay focused, you will beat this, it will not beat you.
