SciFi channel has finally done it. Cancelling The Dresden Files was the last straw. I will no longer watch any of their programs, which are stupid and a waste of my time anyways. The person who made this decision should be fired! I suppose that they would even cancel Harry Potter, if it was a tv series. At least I can read the books that I never knew existed until the series. SciFi Channel - you are dead to me.

I'm unsurprised at SciFi's decision, given how unresponsive they've been to questions regarding its future. Very disappointed, as well, since they also dropped the ball in promoting it and giving it a good chance. Airing episodes out of order also made things funky.
What I can't believe is that they're dropping the Dresden Files and still promoting Painkiller Jane, which is dog doo.

we knew it was coming, all the SciFi panels and conferences, and Dresden was completely avoided.
SciFi just doesn't "get it" every show isn't a blockbuster, sometimes they need a bit more time to be nurtured so that they can find their way to being solid additions to their lineup. Scifi is like Fox, if it doesn't go top 10, it's gone, and we wind up with them showing things like ECW and "The Flintstones" movie.. Go ahead Scifi.. explain how Flintstones fits.. I dare ya!

I am still trying to figure out what ECW has got to do with science fiction? How much more money does it take to make a good series than to make a stupid, idiotic movie? The acting in most of them is getting worse and worse with every movie. I have more fun watching paint dry. Thanks for nothing, SciFi. Keep up the good work!
