Great news for people who like standing comics and Americans who have talent: NBC has renewed both Last Comic Standing and America's Got Talent. Both series will return next summer.
The hosts from both shows, Talent's Jerry Springer and Standing's Bill Bellamy, will return for the new seasons. Talent judges Sharon Osbourne, David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan will also return.
Also mentioned in the Hollywood Reporter article is NBC's The Singing Bee, which will be placed on the fall schedule starting September 25, an earlier return than originally planned.
As far as Age of Love, another NBC reality series, its fate is unknown.
The two-hour finale of America's Got Talent airs August 21. Last Comic Standing ends its season with a two-hour finale on September 19.
