According to TMZ, Brian Dunkelman offended a Laugh Factory audience last week by bitterly joking during his stand-up routine, "If wishes came true Ryan Seacrest would have AIDS."As you might recall, Dunkelman was Ryan's American Idol co-host during season one. After leaving the show, Dunkelman faded into obscurity while Ryan Seacrest went on to become one of the most recognizable faces on TV.
Poor Dunkelman. How was he supposed to know that AIDS jokes aren't funny? He's not very bright. After all, this is the man who walked away from American Idol unaware that it would become the biggest reality TV phenomenom of the decade.
So, yes, we understand why you're bitter, Dunkelbrain. But there's no need to wish sickness and death on Seacrest. That's just bad karma. Besides, believe it or not, you still have some true-blue Dunkel-fans.

The sickest part of this story is that Brian Dunkelman himself most likely would be the one to give Ryan Seacrest AIDS!
Oh look a bad gay joke AND AIDS joke! Wow!
Idiots don't know what's funny anymore.

What's the big deal? Howard Stern prays to Jesus for people to get Cancer?
Of course, Stern's a Jew, thus making the bit even better...
Really though, is it out of bounds to wish someone gets AIDS when doing a comedy routine? WTF? And who better than Seacrest? Hollywood's got no shortage of no-talent circus seals (Seacrest, Marky Wahlberg, Dane Cook), so will it matter if one gets an illness?

I'm pretty sure Dunkelman didn't leave AI of his own volition. The producers fired him. I guess they could just tell that he was the sort of guy who's so unfunny he could even kill a Ryan Seacrest-AIDS joke.

its a comedy club, if its not funny people will not laugh and he will have to refine his routine maybe taking that joke out. one more time, ITS A COMEDY CLUB, he could say pretty much whatever he wants as a comic, if the audience laughs thats somethign else

Why did Dunkelman leave Idol anyway? Did he have better options? Was there a big bidding war among the networks for the unique talents of Dunkelman that we are all unaware of?
Seacrest is pulling down $12-$15 million per year, Dunkelman is doing open mic during the week at the Laugh Factory hoping somebody notices him.
I guess we could safely say he's jealous.

Dunkleman left AI because he didn't want to introduce other performers. He left entirely on his own. The producers recently hired him to do voiceover work for AI Rewind. (In hindsight, it was a good thing because Seacrest and him had anti-chemistry and clearly didn't get along. It was painful to watch.)

I can't believe that he's a comedian. I saw a AI Rewind show the other day and wondered why they didn't can him during the season he did.
He sucked so bad it was kinda fun to watch !

I agree, what an immature and juvenile thing to say - this guy is definitely bitter and he should be.
