When we last left Victor Lang on Desperate Housewives, he married Gabrielle to get the Latino vote in his political race. Now Lang is on Mad Men as Roger, the head of the Sterling Cooper ad agency. Can John Slattery work on both shows?
Slattery doesn't think so.
According to this NY Post piece, Slattery says "I don't think my chances for survival are very good." He has no idea what the writers will do to the Victor/Gaby marriage, but considering Victor's real motives and the fact that Gaby is cheating on him already, I'd say he's probably on his way out. But that's OK with me. I'd rather see him full-time on Mad Men anyway. Right now he's doing both, and that has to be sweet for an actor.

Slattery is listed on the Mad Men credits as "Special Appearance By."
