"Kiwi the People": New Zealand has outlawed some forms of political satire, so Jon took it upon himself to grab some footage of the Kiwi government and work some magic. And by "work some magic", I mean "make fart noises". I did enjoy the very serious asides about New Zealand's background, though. So I guess it really is more than the filming location of Lord of the Rings! WOW."Long-Distance Velocipede Bulletin": With controversy being such a natural part of the sporting world, even the Tour de France is not immune. I love that the "taunting Lance Armstrong" line garnered boos. Everyone loves that Armstrong guy. I mean, if Jon had said that line about a Republican congressman or something, people would have been laughing. But Armstrong is off-limits.
"London Flooding": Senior Flood Correspondent John Oliver reported on the flood situation in Britain. Gosh, that was a bad Big Ben gag. As for the FEMA (Fancy English Muffin Association) and Gordon "Brownie" Brown jokes, I approved. I have a weakness for baked goods related humor, apparently.
"High Rollers": Ahh, this was the report I've been waiting for all week. I saw a clip of it before Monday's Daily Show and, since it looked pretty funny, I was disappointed that it kept getting bumped and didn't air until the final episode of the week. Anyway, this was a Jason Jones field report about douchebags who ride mobility scooters around Vegas for maximum casino fun. That main guy looked like he was proudly playing up his douchebaggery for the camera, even during the interview. That was sad. Jones' poolside antics were fun, though.
The night's guest was Robert Dallek, author of Nixon and Kissinger: Partners in Power. Dallek seemed rather giggly at the begin of the interview and I thought to myself, "Uhh... Is he going to be chuckling and nodding politely instead of answering questions the whole time?" Thankfully, no. The discussion was very focused on the group, but, naturally, there were a few tape recording jokes. I was more interested in imagining Dallek speaking in a Dalek voice. So... I guess, in addition to muffin humor, I like Doctor Who gags.

Being a New Zealander, the New Zealand bit was funny. Though Jon did manage to pronounce Waitangi and Whangerai wrong.
I'm amazed he didn't got for a joke about Whakatane (in Maori, wh is pronounced as a f sound). I also thought there are some much better footage, like one MP giving another the fingers, or another telling someone to "f*** off".
