That's the topic of a post over on the Huffington Post by Bob Saget. The comedian, former Full House star and current host of 1 Vs. 100 ponders what he would do if he suddenly found out he only had 24 hours left in his life. Apparently, he'd spend a lot of time on a plane and laugh at his mother being injured in a surfing accident.
It's a funny piece, but my favorite was this comment, left by a poster named Crowhaul:
Bob, you don't need to be 'funny'. You've been there, done that. Why not hit us with some voice, instead. Need a subject? How about the tens of thousands of kids we've orphaned in Iraq? Dig deep, Bob. Get pissed.
I couldn't agree more. I'm really sick of comedians writing and saying funny things. Last week I went to see comedian Jim Gaffigan and I kept standing up and yelling, "talk about societal unrest in Haiti! Woooo!"
Also, doctors should give haircuts and dentists should put out fires.
Anyway, Saget's post made me think about what I would do if I only had 24 hours to live. After thinking about it for a long time, I decided I would spend the day screaming and crying. I don't think I would feel much like traveling or talking to anyone.

Bob Saget is hilarious. I became a big fan of his after I saw him on Entourage.
I have a feeling that that "character" is pretty darn close to what he is like in RL.
Myabe HBO will give him his own show.

If Bob Saget had 24 hours to live, I'd be doing the dance of joy come the 25th hour.

People who throw stones at Saget have never seen him do his real stand up. They know him as the guy who whored himself out for over a decade to make lots of money. Like Joe Rogan, Saget's far more acerbic and biting than they would ever allow on TV. See Saget in The Aristocrats and if you think of Full House still, god bless.

I've seen Saget do stand up, and the act I saw was pretty "blue"...
And remember, Saget's an actor/comedian. He was paid to be that guy on Full House. He's paid to be that guy on 1 vs 100. He's that quiet looking guy next door that you would never expect to even know a four letter word....
