regardless, I am wary of this new character being introduced. Let's hope her back story makes her compelling enough to care about and accept she will be taking away time from everyone else on screen.

Do you watch the show? Adm. Cain has been in a few episodes from the second season, and believe me her story is very compelling. I am looking forward to this more than even S4.

I don't see any reference to a new character in the post, I suppose I could spend time scouring the net for all BSG information, but I have you know, a job and all. You commented to a blog about a "new character" when the only character they mention is Adm. Cain and expect everyone to know exactly who you are talking about? Maybe you should just stick to the topic or explain what you are talking about, otherwise someone might not understand what you're trying to convey. Use that thing that people call "common sense" I know it may be foreign to you, but you might find a wiki entry on it.

Yes Rick, the character I am talking about is the newcharacter from this movie. Kendra Shaw (as seen in the actual preview, did you watch it?) is the new character who is being brought in for this movie and will continue on into season 4. Common sense would dictate that someone would actually pick up on the fact that there is a new character in this trailer we have never seen before. Clicking on the "Battlestar Galactica" tag will also give one lots of information already cataloged here at TVSquad all about this. No need to scour the net at all nor give up ones job to know all this.

What is Admiral Cain or this new character Kendra Shaw is revealed as the final Cylon? That's a theory to make this movie event have more weight in terms of next season.

Ryan, I have never heard that before.

However, I don't believe it for an instant. If the rumor floating around on how exactly Tigh/Tyrol/Anders/Tori are cylons is true, I have a feeling the final cylon model is something even more special.

SPOILERS:

From what we are seeing, Kendra Shaw is an officer on the Pegasus who's mother was on the quorurm and pulled strings to get her on board. She works her way up the ranks to Major (and is even considered to be XO of Lee for a bit when he is in command) and will end up a pilot on the Galactica in Season 4.

It is looking very likely that the story we see in "Razor" will be from her perspective. I would even put money down that Razor is her callsign.

Cain said to her XO that she wanted razors in the group that was supposed to assasinate Adama. Could "Razor" be an reference to killer or murderer or even badass? Any thoughts?

That is a good point bsgfan2003 and I did think about that when I first heard the name of the movie.

Perhaps "razor" is Cain's own little nickname for crew members who are loyal 110% to her. Those who follow orders with no question whatsoever. Or just a total badass Colonial Warrior.

There was an interview or something on the BSG site that one of the directors talks about the "Razor" term and what it is, they are refering to someone who is Strong, Acurate, dependable, sharp, hence the name Razor.
