Live Earth (24 hours of music and informational messages worldwide) gets compressed into 3 hours on NBC. Way to commit (NOT) to the cause NBC. No doubt it'll be just the america-friendly musical artists and the whole message of saving the earth will be lost.
Compare this to what German and UK TV channels have done. They turned over their main channels to *ALL* of the concert and messages with no commercials.
The BBC have given over their top channel (BBC1) for 22.5 hours. German top channel has done a similar thing.
In the states it gets 3 hours. What a surprise. Just like the Live 8 concert last year.

I know, I was surprised at how little TV coverage there was going to be for Live Earth. My online stream barely worked most of the time, and there never seemed to be a published schedule (that I could find)....but what I was able to see, I liked.
