Reuters is reporting that NBC and Donald Trump have agreed to bring back The Apprentice for one more season, and possibly two. During this spring's Upfronts presentation, The Apprentice was left off the NBC schedule. The network didn't officially cancel the reality show, but Donald Trump opened his big yapper and announced that he had no plans to return for another season. Then, less than two weeks later, he told Larry King that he did want another season. Since then, NBC has hired a new entertainment president and that may be the reason The Apprentice is back on the table.According to this afternoon's report, NBC will announce the return of The Apprentice during a summer presentation to television critics on July 16th. NBC isn't confirming the report, but I imagine we'll hear something from Trump's camp soon.

Trump and NBC will be leaving their wives and will have a commitment ceremony in Vermont in December. It'll be huge.

Woo hoo!! I love The Apprentice, so I'm quite pleased! Its ratings may not be that great, but with the way NBC has been lately, they should at least attempt to hold onto shows that draw a decent crowd, while they attempt to get other ratings with new shows.

Ben Silverman (New head of NBC) did not have much choice - his production company provides most of the product placement (aka "Tasks") for The Apprentice - reviving the ailing show is a business decision. Second, Donald Trump is a 12 year old Drama Queen, disguised as a 60 year old overweight bald man, who cries when his ego is derailed or exposed.

Wow, must hae been a tough decision. I guess that is why they pay tv heads big bucks.
For goodness sake, grow a pair and dump the donald. Yes, he will trash talk but what credability does he have in tv anyway? His show was over edited poop. Who listens to what he says anyway? Are they afraid of losing the WWE demographic?
Trump's 10 minutes are up. He should go back to doing what he does well. Build monuments to his ego modeled after tony montana's lovely home.
