Way back on September 30, 2005, the web site TV Shows on DVD announced that the third season of one of my favorite TV shows, Once and Again, would be available for sale in a 19-episode, multi-disc set, complete with actor commentaries and a blooper video. They even released an image of the DVD box.
Then a funny thing happened on the way to the DVD shelves. Disney pulled the plug and indefinitely suspended the release of the award-winning show's (premature) final season.
While fans have been befuddled as to the reason for the hold-up -- there's an online petition asking Buena Vista Home Entertainment to release the DVD collection -- this week, TV Shows on DVD announced that ABC is looking for "a new home for Once and Again," now that "Buena Vista Home Entertainment's license will be expiring soon."
In the meantime, TV Shows on DVD said that if fans of the Sela Ward drama really want the third season released, they have to, and I quote, "Make a lot of noise." (FYI -- This was the season where Mischa Barton appeared as Evan Rachel Wood's close friend/girlfriend.)

Disney is very bad about this. They did the same thing with the last season of Gargoyles.
Releasing the first one or 2 box sets only to stop before the end is the worst kind of tease for fans.

It is bizarre how this show was treated, a little too intelligent for audiences I think. In the UK, we were not even treated to season 2 on the TV, we had to buy the DVD Set to see. DO the right thing and get season 3 either on DVD or a Hi Quality Download.
Sort it out.

I wish die hard fans of tv shows could pay to have their favourite tv series put onto dvd's, for the shows that were pulled from boxset release. It is so frustrating when they release the first 2 seasons then decide to leave the last one out when it would complete a fans set.
Please release Season 3 of Once and Again!!

It is totally unfair not to release Season 3 of Once and Again. All of us diehard fans insist that Series 3 be released or we would like to be informed of what other way we can obtain Series 3.
Just dropping it is totally unacceptable. Do Something!
