See if I was Paris Hilton on the Larry King show and Lar totally sandbagged me with that 'what's your favorite Bible verse' question... I'd have been all... "The one with God in it Larry... he's the guy with the long hair right? That's Hot!"
Can we add LiLo to this list... by the way... Lindsey Lohan just turned 21 yesterday... and her boobs just turned 3.

Patrick, Patrick, Patrick...
You've made it PAINFULLY clear who the next person on Brigitte's Shut Up List should be!
More Pointers for Patrick:
Firstly, subject matter. When trying to prove your sense of humor there are at least two things you shouldn't joke about.
a. God, because as secular as our nation has become, there are still plenty of people around who regard God as sacrosanct. Joke about the church, joke about nuns, joke about acolytes or people in the pew all you want. God should always be taken seriously.
b. Abused children. Nobody has ever (successfully) made a good joke about abused children. The reasons for this SHOULD be obvious to everyone.
Secondly, uniqueness. Once you've told a joke (especially if it didn't get many laughs the first time around) let it go like felonious, unwanted, adult stepchild. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT REPEAT... a joke. (For me, the reposting of the joke about Lindsey Lohan's age fell flat... and, Patrick, I LOVE to laugh!)
I have the fourth off, so it's Saturday ½ for me. By the way, Patrick, change of plans: I won't be going to Hershey on the 4th. It's gonna rain there.

"Cause love is telling someone...shut your trap, dude."
You sounded like Hurley from Lost when you said that. Nice piano music at the end :)

...and of course, as verbose as I get in these posts, I probably should be listed right underneath Patrick...

So I thought I'd post again and make it a two-fer. I'm just wondering if anyone can fill me in on why the comment area is 'Jim and Pat's fun house' where Patrick says something stupid and Jim tries to 'set him straight' where women are concerned. One would think the commentary on a TV show and actor discussion site would be about.. TV and Actors. I must be one of those strange people that thinks things should be on topic, OOPS!
Totally agree with the commentary on John Stamos by the way. I recently read an article in In-Style Magazine, while I was waiting to get my teeth cleaned, John Stamos was talking about his home "I just went through a period of change and of trying to find my way. But now I feel like I've found it, and I want this house to reflect exactly who I am right now: an adult, a solid guy who's finally landed."
Perhaps he landed a little too soon, or since this article was printed sometime in 2006 (I'm thinking around christmas) maybe he's gotten tired of the way he was on and decided to join the rest of his peers in the drunken non-adult way. You never know.

Patrick, I did laugh at the Lohan joke the first time around, but really once is enough.
Jim, nothing should always be taken seriously. If it were true that god was an off-limits topic then George Carlin wouldn't be around, and that would be a crime.
Brigitte, I didn't start watching until recently and I have to say I'm enjoying the show. Keep it up, and have a nice July 4th.

For the record... I don't normally feel the need to reply to people on the internet that make comments about me... it's kinda 5th gradish and 'cyber fighting' accomplishes nothing. But I do feel compelled to appologize for my behavior the past week or so. First to Brigitte herself... I appologize for any discomfort my flirtations may have caused. I took some time this morning (day off) to read some past comments other have made. I usually just comment then bolt... but after reading some of the comments others made it become obvious that others also may have felt uncomfortable... or at least annoyed. Heck even Jim found me Romper Roomish and 'creepy'.
Therefore... I decided no more flirting... no more 'goofing off' with my comments about Ms. Dale... and stick strictly to the topics at hand. As per the 'comment rules'. I hope you will all note I kept my comments spot on topic... and short.
Thank you -- Have a great 4th everybody

George Carlin is a highly successful comedian, and I find a lot of his stuff very funny, but he's not for everybody. He can be easily billed as an irreverent humorist... just this side of shock jock. Plenty of people find his humor offensive. No doubt he will attempt to conquer sexually abused children as the final frontier in standup comedy. It's a challenge that, as far as I'm aware, no comedian has been able to meet. My point about "off limits" humor topics was directed at anyone who wished to be globally funny.
Some people just aren't all that funny, and when they try to be... especially in a roast... they bomb.

Well, speaking of shock jocks... that's the most impressive post you've made!
Lisa - -
I'm sorry your offended by the inter-commentary dialog in here that has gone on between Patrick and me. Frankly, though, comment sections are just one more way we have invented to enter into the global community. It takes all sorts to make a world, but the banter between Patrick and me has at least been done in the spirit of fun. Please consider the alternative to that before you find it so objectionable. (At least one person has actually gone on record to say that they enjoyed it!)
As far as my sticking to topic, I have to tell you that the topic for me is not what or who Brigitte talks about, but HOW she talks about them (okay... and Brigitte herself). Do you honestly think I care a whit about the famous and spoiled? NO! The people that Brigitte talks about are a mere floccinaucity to me. I'm here because there's an attractive 26-27 year-old gal out in Nebraska tearing these clowns apart, and doing it with a particular flare that just somehow works!
Moreover, if Brigitte is uncomfortable with my posts, her blog monitor can remove them... and, Lisa, you yourself can always levy an official complaint about me to Brigitte if you wish at brigdale@gmail.com.

Sorry Lisa, I can't agree with you. I think Jim and Pat's fun house adds a certain panache to this vlog. I find them very funny and have been coming to this site for a few months. Maybe, you are new top this site and they need tp grow on you. Give them a few more days and then let us know how you really feel about them. Brig....another great vlog. I liked the foreign language lesson thrown in at the end! have a great 4th everybody. Enjoy!

...and for Lisa's benefit, I will indeed respond to topic:
My theory about the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers being disinterested in Paris Hilton (sorry Tim) as a spokesperson is also due to the fact that, given Hilton's declining popularity, they don't want to have to countenance any wisecracks about having a MADD Cow Disease.

Hit it right on the head with that one Jim!
I still get secret laughs over whenever a celebrity makes a claim in public that gets either disproven or simply slammed down. And with Paris claiming not to 'act stupid' anymore, its just simply even funnier!
And a Happy 4th of July to all you yanky folk for tomorrow, whereas it was today for me. Which reminds me, once on holidays in the US I was asked by a female whether or not we celebrate Independance Day here in Oz...after a long painful silence of simple disbelief, I politely said no. And was later told that she was studying to become a teacher... So Happy Holidays to you all!
