As a teenager, your opinion is irrelevant to most of society, but the Teen Choice Awards is your chance to let your voice be heard, and to nominate Paris Hilton for some reason.
Hilton is just one of the folks who have been nominated for Teen Choice 2007, which airs live starting at 8:00 p.m. on August 26 on FOX. She's been nominated in the "Choice TV: Female Reality/Variety Star" category for her "role" on The Simple Life. She's also nominated for the "OMG! Moment" for her jail sentence. Yes, you can win an award for that now, so star commiting some felonies right now, kids.
Call me crazy, but I don't think teens really like Paris Hilton all that much. It's almost as if the Teen Choice Awards has nothing to do with teenagers and eveything to do with media corporations pushing the latest movies, bands and celebrities onto the youth market.

Ok, so how much does it cost to get a nomination? Cause there are movies on the list that are not out yet, or have been out for less then 24 hours on there. They are soooo good that no one needs to even see them?
Also a fair amount of rated R movies on the list. Ok, I remember seeing Predator 10 times when I was 12. But no one would put that on a list for teenagers.
The OMG award wants to make me shoot my self. "Hey suffer public pain, and you too can win!"

As a teen who had nothing do with these awards, refuses to watch anything with Paris Hilton, and knows that the OMG award is just stupid I think I can guess the winners of each category just by thinking like some of the people who put their birthday parties on MTV. Remember these aren't my personal picks, just what I think is the crap that will actually win.
Action Adventure Movie: POTC 3. I thought it was the worst of the sequels ever made. But Pirates fans would watch a movie with Depp and Bloom sitting on a couch eating chips for 3 hours and say it was good.
Drama Movie: Step Up, Departed deserves it but the best movie of 2006 is always defeated by anything where people dance at these awards.
Chick Flick: The Holiday, I refused to see it because it was too chick flicky and I prefer to keep my manhood in tact.
Comedy Movie: Blades of Glory, Will Ferrill and fart jokes always wins. Sorry Knocked Up.
Horror Flick: Saw 3, because I'm the only one who hates those movies.
Lead Actor, Drama: Channing Tatum, again he dances.
Lead Actress, Drama: Jennifer Hudson, she won everything else.
Acton Movie Actor: Johnny Depp, because he played Jack Sparrow and thats it.
Action Movie Actress: Jessica Alba, because she's hot.
Actor in a Comedy Movie: Borat, and I want him to win too.
Actress in a Comedy: Katerine Higel, because she is the best choice and even idoits know that. (And why is Jessica Simpson nominated for best acting?!)
I'm going to skip horror because I could care less.
Best Movie Villian: Bill Nighily because he was in Pirates.
Hissy Fit (wtf?): Will Ferrill probably.
Liplock: Bloom/Knightley because once again they were in Pirates.
Breakout Female: Jennifer Hudson
Dance: There are no real winners in this category.
Rumble: Pirates will win this too.
Breakout Male: JT because he brought sexy back (And I thought Alba did that already).
Chemistry and scream I have no idea.
TV Movie: High School Musical 2, they made a 2nd one?!
TV Drama: Greys Anatomy, they nick named a proffesional surgeon McDreamy.
TV Comedy: Ugly Betty, because most won't get The Office jokes.

I don't know about you, but half of those votes I am against, and that something else would be better. They should at least wait for the movies to come out, and try not to make it to predictable. The only one I really agree with is South of Nowhere for Breakout show. Its one of the first TV shows EVERY teen can relate to. As for the OMG Moments, they are just taking up space. I say delete it!
