BuddyTV reports that the list of the Big Brother 8 house guests was leaked on the net earlier today. The website warns that fans should take this information with a grain of salt as the list of candidates has not been confirmed by the network yet. According to the article, the Season 8 twist would be "High school enemies;" meaning that the participants include people who went to high school together and didn't hang in the same crowd.
Here is the list of house guests BuddyTV publishes (thanks to their source, Reality TV Calendar):
- Tara Bourke: youngest house guest;
- Tiffany Dalton: oldish black woman;
- Rodger (no last name given): teacher, older Asian male;
- Carol Ricardi: older woman;
- Gabby Ngyugen: young Asian girl;
- Amanda Adams: rumored to be a former cheerleader;
- Mitchell "Mitchy" Vance: younger male;
- Robby Williams or Wallace: young and rumored to be part of a gay teen group;
- Jared Pfifer: good looking;
- David Mertz: man in his forties;
- Andi (no last name given): woman in her early twenties;
- Morgan (no last name given): older male, possibly gay;
- Melanie (no last name given): comes from Florida (possibility that she didn't make the final cut); and
- Unidentified male: no information.
Edited to add: According to TV Squad visitor BBAccess, casting director Robyn Kass supposedly said that this list is bogus. It will be interesting nonetheless to compare it to the real list.

Please please please let that list be inaccurate. That "twist" sounds like the worst one yet. It'd be an awful season.

I've been watching Big Brother 8 in the UK and I much prefer that format. The audience votes out the housemate and it's less about competitions and alliances and more about relationships and conflict than scheming.
