Yes, more news about Isaiah Washington! As if we had not published enough articles about him yet (just look at the amount of links in this article alone). Michael Ausiello from TV Guide reports that the ex-Grey's Anatomy actor will sit down for a chat with CNN's Larry King on Larry King Live on Monday, July 2. This will be the actor's first TV interview since being fired.Expect the interview to cover the too much publicized incidents with T.R. Knight and Patrick Dempsey as well as what happened at the Golden Globes, the rehab, the PSA, the fact that Washington got fired, that potential law suit against ABC and the media frenzy!
In other Washington news, the actor now claims that Patrick Dempsey agrees with the fact that T.R. Knight should have been the one fired. In a recent interview with gay-rights activist/BET host Keith Boykin, the actor said: "I know Patrick Dempsey has supported me by stating that if there is anyone that needs to be fired, it is T.R. Knight, because he has created such a negative environment on the set."

I think Mr. Washington should worry more about getting another job than doing more interviews! None of this incessant whining is helping his image.

Can somebody tell me how to enable Isaiah Washington and Paris Hilton filters for the news?
I can't take this bullshit anymore. First of all I am not interested in this and second of all reading this makes me angry about something that does not interest me in the first place. I won't believe anything this guy or PH say without hearing the people they talk about themselves first. They are dumb people.
I have enough George W. Bush news each day. That's enough dumb BS I can handle. He is the guy with the red phone and the red button. That's why I care about what's up with him so leave me alone with this vanity bs...

I absolutely hate the media in this country. They bumped Michael Moore for Paris Hilton. I guess discussing the state of this country's health-care system (regardless of whether you agree with Moore or not) is less important than some no-talent rich girl.

While he may be a douchebag, its hard to deny the fact that Grey's really won't be the same without his character. He must've been a real sonofabitch on set for them to fire him. He is way to important to the show to just throw out. A part of me hopes he can settle his way back into the show, but that really is impossible.

I didn't pay attention to Washington's accusations until I read this blind item and the solution from months back on a reputable site that tracks these.

25. WATCH WITH KRISTIN 01/10
Whiney Will is a pill. He is a lesser-known actor on a better-known show who has done everything he can within his power (and he does have some power) to be seen, treated and promoted as one of the main stars of the show. He won't do interviews in a group. He won't share a trailer like the other actors at his level. And thanks to his constant kvetching (and that power!), he's slowly but surely getting more and more screentime--and this particular fan doesn't think that's so much of a good thing. On one recent occasion, Will decided not to show up to work until he got the same name-brand water delivered to his trailer that the main star of the show receives--and it "must be chilled." Such divadom, no? And trust me, you'd never expect it from this guy either! - T.R. Knight from "Grey's Anatomy"

Finally white people are paying attention to someone other than some "blond". Thanks, Isaiah. That show needed Washington. I will no longer watch it. Looking forward to the Larry King interview. No matter what you think of Michael Moorer, you will remember him when you get your medical bill.

Just the fact that Mr. Washington was put on the set as the heart surgeon is racist, like we can't see the guy's Black. He would have not had the role if he was not Black. It cuts both ways. It's patsty race-baiting, like too much of this phoney "let me prove I'm not racist" White bs. Replace good Mr. Washington with an Indian or Chinese guy that speaks almost inaudible, inferior English and that works miracles on the operating table while listening to Dolly Parton recordings... That would make a much more interesting, entertaining show. We can even have all the orderlies Black and White flaming queens, that everyone but the skinny, blond White women love.. sounds like a hit? Mega.

...and likewise, it's more than time that a major network had a prime time all Black, or clear Black majority drama with a token White. The Blacks depicted would all very successful, well educated, very well travelled and at least 2 of them are worth millions - the White guy - and they'd have to put in one pretty White female for better dynamics- would be above average and hired for his "skills" - it would be a very interesting "shoe on the other foot" show - There are millions of successful, well educated, brilliant Blacks in America - but we need to see the Black on White thing played out - White in the clear minority. The show would be an eye-opener. Brilliant. All Black script-writers. One White male, one White female. Very, very interesting series. I dare you.

The cast of Grey's Anatomy is more racially diverse than most shows with blacks, asians, hispanics, irish and anglosaxons. Corporate america does not tolerate employees who spend the majority of their time as a distraction and a disruptor. Mr Washington was given a second chance which he chose to waste at the Golden Globes. He's talented, but he can't count. He has had his fifteen minutes of fame. Enough already!

I don't think there was any way to avoid Isaiah Washington's termination. If T.R. Knight says it was an uncomfortable work environment and that Washington was intimidating in some way even after the rehab and PSAs, there is nothing ABC can do. If Knight quits because Washington continued to work on the show, it leaves ABC liable to a lawsuit from Knight.
Unfortunately, if the choice is between Knight and Washington, I much prefer Washington's. It's a shame, Grey's is such a good show, but I don't think it will recover from this. Losing two good stars, Washington and the actress that plays Addison. I wish there was some way to work this out.

I am very disappointed that Isaiah Washington will no longer be on Grey's anatomy.I am also sad that I won't be watching it anymore, because he was one of the big reasons I watched the show not mcdreamy nor mcsteamy. It is sad that this had to happen to Mrs Wilson's first show but it won't last long now and I will be one of the many that will be calling for a boycot of the show as well as its sponsers.

I think the man has every right to defend himself against any false allegations. We always tend to take what we hear from The Iquierer and New York Times as if it's the only truth on earth. I look forward to your new projects.

I was a huge fan of Isaiah Washington's and still respect his acting. However, the mistakes he continues to make regarding this situation are making his accomplishments fade away! Did anyone else notice on Larry King that he tripped himself up. Toward the last half of the program, he was talking about T.R. and said that "I told T.R. the only reason I brought him into this ...." meaning the argument with Dempsey, and then alluded to "defending" him. He had already denied that it had anything to do with T.R. Knight. My personal opinion is that T.R. Knight complained to Washington on the plane about Dempsey and how he felt he was being treated, and when Dempsey & Washington got into their argument, Washington said that he wasn't going to be Dempsey's "f..." like T.R. The fact that he STILL won't admit this is ridiculous!! It totally negates everything else he had to say.
