Understandable.

This was the first show in a long time where I thought that reality TV is actually better.

The interviews simply were awful. Honestly: who cares about people and their doctor? They interviewed people who were obviously pretty dumb. I would've never answered the questions they were asked and especially not in the way those people did. I actually felt sorry after five minutes of watching this show and another five minutes later I turned it off because I simply can not laugh about people who seem to be a little... let's call it slow.

What I didn't understand is why it took more than one episode for the show to be pulled.

I am completely, diametrically opposed to the previous posters -- "Creature Comforts" was funny and different, quietly sweet, and deserved a spot in primetime. Unfortunately, it will no doubt be replaced by another inane, voyeuristic reality show designed to appeal to those viewers who would welcome a return to the days of the Roman Coliseum.
Very sad.

That's too bad. I wasn't very good at catching it, but thought it was cute and funny. Go figure.

Check BBC America. That's where I first discovered the show. It was GREAT there. I guess since the Wallace and Gromit movie, and Chicken Run were not big hits in the US, this should wouldn't be big as well. Oh well. I have one or two more still on TiVo.

I enjoyed the show the first time it aired, but was disappointed when the people interviewed in the next episode were the same. I assumed it would be new people talking each time.

I got to watch one of these, the other two were unable to be recorded due to bad weather. Luckily, they have them on Innertube to see. I enjoyed them. I hope they will have all to see. Too bad, this is a great little show to chase away any 'bad day at work' depression.

The funniest segment was the first 30 seconds of the first episode. It's all downhill after two clay dogs sniff each other's butts.

Sure it wasn't necessarily hilarious and sometimes rather odd, but even at its worst it was far better than the contrived situations and strained laughter of most sitcoms. I think what killed it was the fact that it was different. Americans can't handle "different" on tv, they want regular, lowbrow, schlock and people acting like complete asses. So, yeah, it'll probably get replaced with some reality crap and honestly, dead air is better than reality tv. Reality shows bring out the worst in both the subjects and viewers, and as Gene said, it's for those that would welcome a return to the days of the Roman Coliseum. Excellent observation Gene.

I loved this show. It was very funny, putting human voices saying unscripted things in animal characters mouths. It's not meant to be uproariously, wet your pants funny; you're supposed to find the humor in the situations. There was a lot going on with the animation too, little off-the-wall bits that were very funny but American TV viewers have to be told when and where to laugh because we can't sit down and actually pay attention to what's on screen. Most people don't sit down and "watch" TV, it's just noise in the background so whenever something clever comes along, you know it's doomed from the beginning. This goes back to the days of "Police Squad!" People weren't watching the show, so they missed half the visual jokes, and the same appears to have happened with "Creature Comforts." What a shame.

Arrrrrrrrrgh. I loved Creature Comforts when one of my friends showed me a VHS tape of the UK version back in college, and I loved the CBS version. Not even The Office made me laugh out loud as much as Creature Comforts.

I was a long time UK Creature Comforts fan, and this American version didn't sit right with me. It seemed a little meaner to the interviewees that maybe I didn't notice in the UK version. Some of the jokes were a little too racy for 8 pm as well.

I felt horrified for the two gals who were interviewed that they turned into toothless pigs on the show. It seemed like an exercise in humiliating American stereotypes.

The animation on this one wasn't nearly as good. It lacked the big smile sparkle of the animals fromt he orginal and Wallace and Gromit movies. I don't know what happened to Aardman. It was a huge disappointment for me.

The only good joke that made me laugh was the Sean Connery comment made by the 'cat' on the first episode. Downhill from there.

And bring HIMYM back at 8!I am really starting to hate Old Christine! That should have been axed before Creature Comforts.

In a shocking new move to show that they are up to date and "now" people, CBS will now begin canceling shows before they air any episodes. Plans are in the works to announce shows and cancel them all in the same press release. According to a network spokesperson "If the sh ow can't capture a "Seinfeld" size market share while we are still thinking about it, well then what the hell's the point?

Me and my girlfriend loved the show. It was funny and something original to watch. Save the show! Mail CBS a can of clay or Play-Do. :)

I hate that CBS is yanking another good show after just a few episodes and not really giving it a chance. I missed the first 2 shows because I was on vacation, but I caught them on innertube. It's cute, creative, funny, and one of the few shows that are okay for kids to watch in primetime (sure some of it's above their heads, but who cares, they love the animation). I think that in these days of TiVo and DVR's, their method of deciding how many people are watching tv shows is outdated-just look at what happened with "Jericho"!

Well, that sucks. Creature Comforts was really a fantastic show, but it needed time to develop an audience. Honestly, CBS was just the wrong place for it. Too big of a stage for too unique of a show. The quality was extraordinary, though. Stunning mix of humor and genuinely touching moments. I was blown away by the Zoo segment in the most recent episode. Some of the interviews were so human (ironically enough) and I was thrilled that the producers had the courage to go there. Given time to grow, this show would find an audience. CBS in the summer just wasn't the time or place. I know its unlikely, but I hope someone else swoops in to give it a home, even if just the remaining episodes of the initial order but someone really should give this a shot. This may be a UK invention, but it really has the goods to find a piece of the American audience.

Here's hoping PBS or [adult swim] or somebody steps up and gives Aardman a chance.

i guess im one of the few who found the show different and interesting enough to make time to watch and tivo it. i also find wallace an Gromet claymation movies and that stuff cool and interesting as well. too bad people need to stop watching that fake reality stuff and watch actually good tv again

My husband turned me to this show. I loved it. Very smart! Very cute!! Lots of charm and intellect. I will miss it.
